An elegant space, Aster Victoria showcases a menu which fuses Nordic and French cooking styles. Executive chef Helena Puolakka combines punchy flavours with exquisite technique.
The Aster menu begins with rich starters like scallop with celeriac, sea buckthorn and liquorice, or foie gras with smoked eel and apple. For mains, try the likes of duck with salsify, ox cheeks with winter roots, or gnocchi with celeriac and winter truffle. Finish with a coconut panna cotta with basil shortbread, or raspberry mousse with hazelnut cake, poached rhubarb and sorbet.
Chic and contemporary, Aster London sits just seconds from Victoria Rail Station.

super limited menu at the weekend - there is only brunch in the restaurant all day on saturday, with very little nordic influence or food at all. we had checked the restaurant and cafe menu in advance, but this was not on offer. the website really doesnt make it clear that there is only limited brunch on offer all day at the weekends. for a nordic restaurant, it seemed quite strange not to have nordic options on offer at all at the weekends in the day time.

There should be a Front Of House always present and ready for arrivals. I turned up at 6.20pm when it was very quiet and had to wait for at least a minute before someone noticed me. FYI that is a long time to be kept waiting especially when it is not busy and in the type of high-end establishment that I presume you endeavour to be.

A great pre "Hamilton" early evening dinner in an excitingly modern, bright and spacious second floor restaurant. Small, tasty and beautifully presented servings. Charming and quick service. In its own way as memorable as the play!

Food 2/5 - eggs victoria starter was good. The fish for mains was poor. It was served with potatoe salad that was undercooked & i couldn't eat. The service with the prosecco was good but could have been better.
We were looking around to get the attention from the staff & a table of 4 drunk Essex girls started shouting at us accusing us of "staring at them". The waitress saw this & still served them another glass of prosecco. Appalling behaviour!! I work in events and i was considering this as a venue- definitely not!!

Good atmosphere and attentive staff. Had the evening standard set menu which is very good value - £30 3 courses and glass of fizz. Bread selection esp rye was delicious, steak was a great substitute on the evening for liver and chocolate mousse good combination of ligtht texture but rich flavour . Also liked the option of buying wine by the carafe.
