Except from having the two of us booked in at 7pm and not 5:45pmnas we had booked via the app everything was lovely. It would have been nicer if we could have chosen where to sit. The waitress Lisa at Lincoln was lovely and very attentive though. The food was excellent

With a stunning glass frontage and popular al fresco dining, ASK Italian - Lincoln boasts a cosmopolitan setting. The sleek furnishings and airy dining room evoke a fresh, contemporary ambience.

Inspired by the Italian way of eating, ASK Italian celebrates mealtimes as an opportunity to connect with one another around the table. Start with a perfect-for-sharing antipasti board from the ASK Italian menu, and enjoy signature dishes from fresh pasta to crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings. And because there's always room for dessert, diners can indulge in a selection of beautiful desserts including the chocolate Etna, served with plenty of theatre.

ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices, with allergen information on hand if ever you need it, plus a fun kids menu. Premium beers, including Sicily's most famous craft beer, Messina Bira, are available alongside Italian wines, cocktails and soft drinks, like a refreshing craft lemonade.

In the heart of the picturesque city, ASK Italian Lincoln is just a 9-minute stroll from Lincoln Central Rail Station.

Very good service. Friendly and efficient. Food was divine, all 3 courses!!! We were lucky enough to have a table set in a little alcove so felt very private even though in main restaurant near windows..

We went to Ask for Mother’s Day. My self my wife and our son. What a disaster. 1 hour before our starters arrived after complaining. My wife’s first and then ours 10 further minutes later! Mains then came almost immediately we had finished our starters. Overdone for 2 and Luke warm the third!Ordered drinks. 20 minutes later had to follow up. Knocked 20% off the bill but awful experience due to very poor organisation and lack of customer focus as too many guests!

Disappointing. We had booked a table for 4, but we were taken upstairs to a room of 2 HUGE parties - 1 comprising 24 people, 1 comprising ~16 people including lots of children. There was also no Prosecco available, and the other similar options were all more expensive, and served warm. Ambience was terrible, and service was slow.

Risotto was good, garlic prawns were cremated, and so late that we had almost forgotten about them. Service was awful, apologetic, but simply not enough staff for a very busy evening. And then they all started going home! Get some managemnt. Felt sorry for the lad in charge.Main course arrived eventually, wrong one for one guest but could bother to complain- it took an hour to get there and we had other things to do .HAD the service been better we may well haev had a dessert and coffee, but I may have died of old age by then .It coulrd have been a lot better.Just spolit an otherwise good evening out

Good value. Physically cold several customers needed to keep their cats on. Service good but they wanted to rush customers to be through meal as quickly as possible

Booking service excellent. Premises bright and welcoming. Portion sizes good, food good. When we ordered puddings it came adrift.
The time it took to produce 4 cold puddings was in excess of 20 minutes. When I went to the till and asked where they were, there was a puzzled look from the girl on the till who asked a senior waiter what had happened and he chased it up. My pudding the icecream had melted and formed an untidy slick on the plate and the pointed part of the tart had been crushed. I sent it back and they apologised and deducted 20% from the bill. The bill for four of us for lunch with 2 glasses of wine and 4 cokes came to £74 that is with the 20% off. NOT value for money. Considering there are lots of restaurants around ASK I am surprised at such a slap dash approach to customer. WONT be back
