In a chic, colourful setting, ASK Italian Glasgow Port Dundas Place offers a great selection of flavoursome Mediterranean dishes, blending traditional recipes with innovative twists.
Inspired by the Italian way of eating, ASK Italian celebrates mealtimes as an opportunity to connect with one another around the table. Start with a perfect-for-sharing antipasti board from the ASK Italian menu, and enjoy signature dishes from fresh pasta to crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings. And because there's always room for dessert, diners can indulge in a selection of beautiful desserts including the chocolate Etna, served with plenty of theatre.
ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices, with allergen information on hand if ever you need it, plus a fun kids menu. Premium beers, including Sicily's most famous craft beer, Messina Bira, are available alongside Italian wines, cocktails and soft drinks, like a refreshing craft lemonade.
ASK Italian Glasgow Port Dundas Place sits in the city centre, a stone’s throw from Glasgow Caledonian University, and 8 minutes’ walk from Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station.

On going in, it was busy. which gave it a cool vibe. We were shown to our table and were given a wee shot of fresh lemonade, nice! Our waiters were very attentive and the meals were lovely. Not huge portions which was great but very tasty. Coffees and cake to follow and we were well satisfied.

7/10 - staff were really lovely , restaurant was clean and tidy, nice menu but the 2 course for £9.99 isnt on any more. food was nice but not quite as fresh as hoped and not too warm.

Managed to get a seat outside which, given the weather, was a great bonus. Service was slick (as usual) and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Food is always good, with great sized portions. My red wine was at a perfect temperature although my partners white wine could have been colder. (Icy cold is great for white wine when it’s so warm) The place is in a great location too, for pre or post-theatre meals, and with Sauciehall Street and Buchanan Galleries a mere stones throw away, great for lunches too. Overall experience was, as always, very good. Will definitely be back again.

Ask Italian is very well-located by Buchanan street bus station. A great place to meet folk arriving in or leaving the city.

We dine at Ask Italian Glasgow when we are catching up with relatives it is very convenient to the Bus Station. There are lots of places in Glasgow where we could eat and enjoy Ask Italian so we are happy and they are happy to eat in your restaurant.
Two of our family are Gluten Free diners, two are vegetarian and they are well looked after, my husband invariably has Sea bass, I like a pizza or an aubergine dish
all in all we are perfectly happy, staff are very friendly and we are well looked after.

Very very slow service; 20 minute to have opening drinks delivered. My food was OK but my wife's 2nd course had obviously been cooked too early and kept hot so that it was dried out. By the time of delivery, it was obvious that we would need all our time to get into our seats for a concert across the road. Made it by 2 minutes - 88 minutes after sitting down to eat

This was my second visit within a week. Our meal was lovely, however, the service was quite slow. We waited over 1 hour before our food arrived. The restaurant was busy with people attending a show and who were on a tight schedule. However, it was not full and I would assume that most of the tables had been pre-booked.
