Restaurant description

Inspired by the culinary customs of Havana, Asia de Cuba offers Asian and Cuban-themed cuisine in the famous St Martins Lane hotel. The Asia de Cuba bar is famous for its expertly-mixed mojitos, and the edgy dining room features wall-mounted plant pots, eclectic antique-style furnishings and portrait photographs.

Showcasing experimental flavour combinations and twists on old favourites, the Asia de Cuba menu is brought to you by Cuban-born chef Luis Pous. Bursting-with-colour dishes are served sharing style, and might include chilli-rubbed scallops with black rice and beans, duck confit with brown rice and orange, or seven-spiced chicken. For dessert, indulge in signature sugar-rolled Mexican doughnuts with gooey caramel & warm chilli chocolate, or guava cheesecake.

Meticulously-compiled house cocktails at Asia de Cuba near Leicester Square include tropical mixes, along with traditional Cuban recipes.

A fun, diverse restaurant in London featuring ground-breaking interior design, Asia de Cuba is a 3-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station. A pre-theatre favourite, Covent Garden is just 5 minutes away.

Lovely experience - very accommodating with dietary needs. Not a lot of begs choice but the dishes I tried were good.

It’s ok for brunch. We had bottomless brunch. The food is average, the starter is like something from a party pack at Iceland , similar to the bottomless dohnuts. The main is decent. The bottomless drinks are good, good choice and food. Service is great, friendly and fun. Credit to the waitress who served us. £48 bit steep for the food you get.

The welcoming team where lovely. I had to wait to be served an initial drink, which did not come with a napkin or coaster, and then dripped over the table and my leg! The set menu was very generous in terms of portion size, very filling, but beautifully executed food which was hard to stop eating. The waiter could have been over more frequently to check if drinks needed refreshing, but otherwise a prompt service.

Had early table booked as pre theatre. Food and service really good and 3 courses for £30 with a Mohito was great value.
