Inspired by the culinary customs of Havana, Asia de Cuba offers Asian and Cuban-themed cuisine in the famous St Martins Lane hotel. The Asia de Cuba bar is famous for its expertly-mixed mojitos, and the edgy dining room features wall-mounted plant pots, eclectic antique-style furnishings and portrait photographs.

Showcasing experimental flavour combinations and twists on old favourites, the Asia de Cuba menu is brought to you by Cuban-born chef Luis Pous. Bursting-with-colour dishes are served sharing style, and might include chilli-rubbed scallops with black rice and beans, duck confit with brown rice and orange, or seven-spiced chicken. For dessert, indulge in signature sugar-rolled Mexican doughnuts with gooey caramel & warm chilli chocolate, or guava cheesecake.

Meticulously-compiled house cocktails at Asia de Cuba near Leicester Square include tropical mixes, along with traditional Cuban recipes.

A fun, diverse restaurant in London featuring ground-breaking interior design, Asia de Cuba is a 3-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station. A pre-theatre favourite, Covent Garden is just 5 minutes away.

Very nice setting, low light (tricky to read the menu but nice atmosphere), friendly welcome and service. The food was nice but not a perfect as I would have hoped - yuca fries were under and beans with my tuna were overcooked. But overall happy with the experience and the deal was great value. It was a bit of a mission to order a glass of rose though, the first waiter told me 'we don't have it' when it was on the menu. Turns out he understood 'prosecco' so I repeated, then he assumed I wanted rose prosecco and then another waiter came over... So a bit embarrassing that I had to ask 3 times for a fairly standard menu item.

I haven't been here for a few years but I remembered I really enjoyed the food previously. The food is still really good. The deal for 3 courses and cocktail is great value. Portions are big and good options. There was live music this time which was nice but it was a bit too loud as I had to speak really loudly to my friend who was sitting opposite me. Service was good. Nice lunch out but just a bit too noisy.

It was a busy day when we where here, so that may have something to do with our experience. We had booked Bottomless weekend brunch online, but the waiter didn't seem to know this. After eating our main corse we had to ask for the chips and dip that was supposed to come first.
The drinks were small and after an hour we got bored of asking for drinks and left.

We had a fantastic meal, my seven spice chicken was exquisite. Special mention for our lovely waitress who was extremely attentive and helpful with our meal selections.

Having visited this restaurant many times over the last 7-8 years, i was excited to return on Saturday after a lengthy absence with my wife who had never visited before, for our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately it did not live up to my previous experiences. This was the first time i have ever tried a set menu and perhaps this is why, the standards had definitely slipped.
We arrived and it was not very busy at all for a Friday evening. There were a handful of diners sat at the front and we were lead to the rear of the restaurant and sat with no-one else around so had a huge lack of atmosphere.
With the set menu it included a drink, a mojito, we had to wait a long time for it to arrive and when it eventually did both thought it tasted 'eggy' and nothing like a mojito (infact it was disgusting). We both couldn't finish it and ordered different cocktails instead which i must say were delicious but expensive at around £13 each (but expect this in central London).
The food started to arrive, and mid way through the lights were dimmed and it was so dark when my mains arrived i couldnt even see what was on my plate properly, i didnt even realise my chicken was sitting on a layer of other food it really was so dark!
All in all i left feeling dissapointed by the quality of the whole package. We were headed to the theatre after which is why i opted for set menu, but what was advertised as £60 ended up costing £140 (sides and water were extra), did leave me feeling unsatisfied.
I would still recommend this restaurant from previous visits but from recent visits there are many more i would recommend over this one right now.

The waiters were friendly and seermed to care about feedback.
The starter was double the size of a normal one so a bit of a waste . The main was good but not very refine. The desert was very basic . Overall it’s overpriced for the culinary experience you have .

Very disappointing. Unlimited brunch offer is tired and dated.

Dishes were well cooked and delicious. Loved the ambience of the place. Needed to sign post restaurant better as I walked past it twice before realising I was in the right place. Once inside a member of staff had to show me to the restaurant. Loved the pictures of Cuba. Finding the toilets was interesting like searching for a secret door. Staff were polite, friendly and polite.
