Overall was fantastic, good recommendations regarding drinks and food from our waiter who was both knowledgable and helpful. The desserts (guava cheesecake & the Mexican donuts) we couldn't fault. I would definitely come back, so many exciting and interesting flavour combinations on their menu.

Inspired by the culinary customs of Havana, Asia de Cuba offers Asian and Cuban-themed cuisine in the famous St martin's Lane Hotel. The Asia de Cuba bar is famous for its expertly-mixed mojitos, and the edgy dining room features wall-mounted plant pots, eclectic antique-style furnishings and portrait photographs.

Showcasing experimental flavour combinations and twists on old favourites, the Asia de Cuba menu is brought to you by Cuban-born chef Luis Pous. Bursting-with-colour dishes are served sharing style, and might include chilli-rubbed scallops with black rice and beans, duck confit with brown rice and orange, or seven-spiced chicken. For dessert, indulge in signature sugar-rolled Mexican doughnuts with gooey caramel & warm chilli chocolate, or guava cheesecake.

Created in partnership with premium gin Tanqueray No. TEN, the summer terrace at Asia de Cuba is divided into 2 elements, representing the hotel’s interior outlets. One part echoes The Den serving gin & tonic afternoon tea, whilst the other reflects Asia de Cuba, providing a selection of exclusive gin pairings.

Meticulously-compiled house cocktails at Asia de Cuba near Leicester Square include tropical mixes, along with traditional Cuban recipes.

A fun, diverse restaurant in London featuring ground-breaking interior design, Asia de Cuba is a 3-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station. A pre-theatre favourite, Covent Garden is just 5 minutes away.

Online Booking service was quick and easy. There were 4 of us - waiter was attentive. We went for the set menu - the choice was good, portion size was bigger than we had anticipated. Most importantly, the food tasted excellent! The Mexican doughnut with chillies chocolates was superb. We will be back.

Great setting, ambience and staff but the food didn't quite live up to its billing. We were advised the small plates were really small so we should order at least 3 but in truth they were as big as the mains. The shrimp churros were overdone and dry and the chicken chicharrones were just deep fried chicken cubes (strangely offputting). Casabe cakes were delicious and the lobster and salmon were cooked really well. Again, a very nice restaurant and we had a great time but to justify the prices the kitchen really needs to get it right every time. This was a bit hit and miss for my liking.

Excellent pre-theatre meal, great portion sizes and therefore not too rushed.

    great food and great service

Fabulous meal, every course was special. With the tasting menu for 2, including a glass of champagne each, a reasonable bottle of wine and service the whole meal came to £167. Particularly loved the starters. Our waitress, Vicki, really made the evening by being so fun and helpful. The restaurant has that annoying policy of charging service and then also asking for a gratuity, which makes payment time awkward. Other than that is was an awesome experience.

We ate from the set menu and shared every dish. No complaints at all about the food and the service was excellent. Definitely want to go back again. A lovely change from British food.

We loved the restaurant décor. Service was very good and the starters are excellent. Main dishes were a bit varied, for instance the ribeye was very disappointing. Portion size was also good. So good in fact we could not order dessert
