We had a great time we had a nice quiet table by the window The food was tasty and hot Unfotunately the chips let it down they were not fresh
All together a nice evening out with my partner and his family for his 70 th birthday

Online booking service excellent. Asked for a specific table and got it which was lovely. Food excellent in quality, portion size and value. I often choose a ribeye and it's always cooked the way I like it. Waitress service was also excellent = efficient, polite and prompt. It was my birthday so thank you for a lovely end to a lovely day

Overall it was ok. One starter came out cold (the soup) but otherwise the food was ok and the service was good. About what we expected considering the price.

We had the best seat in the house , y the window over looking the canal and a great view of all the Christmas lights ,it was my husbands 74th birthday so we were hoping for a great night and that's what we got ,we had a great meal ,the slow cooked lamb was to die for ,hubby had the double chicken breast with bacon and cheese yummy, can't remember what everyone else had as the sonnet home wine went down very nicely ,all in all a great meal in great surroundings enjoyed with great company ,the waitress was amazing nothing was too much trouble for her ,,,,,,, but I still have that little niggle with having to pay for an extra meal that we didn't need due to there being five of us in our party ,,,,other than that no complaints ,,,,,

Warm and inviting atmosphere. Good food. Seasonally decorated. Staff efficient and friendly.
Less stars for location, simply because we have to travel from Milford, so either bus or taxi.

We have eaten at the Ash Tree many times and took family this time. We were a little disappointed however as they sat us by the door which we closed three times due yo smokers leaving it open and smoke blowing through, but to be fair they moved us but had the place been full would have been impossible. Two of our guests had the Sunday roast and returned them as the roast potatoes were black they replaced them. But to be honest dampened the day as we had always boasted about the Ash Tree being our local and its location is fantastic. In future I would be reluctant to take friends and family there.
