Afternoon tea was delicious. The scones were warm with lashings of cream and jam. Lemon curd was a thoughtful extra and the cakes were melt in the mouth .

The menu was imaginative and the food of a standard I associate with michelin rated restaurants, in particular the main course, ‘chicken 3 ways.’
Professional and friendly service enhanced the experience. A well sourced wine list completed a truly special dining experience.

Customer service and food were excellent. Staff very knowledgeable about the wine list which also helped.

I have been to the Arbor restaurant before. The food and service are always excellent. We shared a selection of “nibbles” to start - be warned the portions are very generous. You could almost make a meal of them alone. The choice is excellent at all courses. The wine list comprehensive. Only negative was a flashing light bulb. I had to ask to move. This should have been dealt with before service if possible - it was very distracting.

All very good except both our main courses which were extremely salty

Thoroughly enjoyable meal and a very professional and personal approach from the waiting staff.
I had the tandoori trout, with a mussel sauce and basmati rice and it was cooked perfectly.
Prices are not pub prices but they are not overly inflated either. I would say just right for the very good quality of the food. (About £20-£25 for one of the specials of the day).
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, whatsoever.
If I had one criticism, the restaurant area is quite small and lacks a little atmosphere but this in no way spoiled the evening.
