Set in an exclusive 4-star retreat, Arbor Restaurant serves refined British delicacies while staying true to eco principles and sustainable roots. Boasting 2 AA Rosettes and 2 Gold Awards from Dorset Tourism for Eating Out and Sustainability, the expansive gardens offer an ideal spot for al fresco dining.

Blending classic and contemporary cooking techniques, the Arbor menu makes use of daily deliveries of organic farm-assured produce and artisan specialities, as well as some of the UK’s finest fish and shellfish, fresh from trawlers. Serving uncomplicated, imaginative and honest food, the Arbor chefs mix the classic with the contemporary, with dishes like Lyme Bay scallops with creamed peas and bacon, or chorizo-stuffed chicken with red onion tart tatin.

Nestled in picturesque the Dorset countryside, Arbor is passionate about offering truly local flavours. The organic and biodynamic wine list restaurant has been extensively researched, with bottles painstakingly matched to the menu dishes.

Offering a chic setting that champions environmental responsibility, The Green House Hotel restaurant in Bournemouth offers a lush, natural hideaway. The Pavillion Theatre is 9 minutes’ walk away.

The Christmas themed afternoon tea was delicious. Beautiful, tasty sandwiches (without crusts). Two varieties of light and fluffy scones with clotted cream, strawberry preserve and lemon curd. Followed by ginger and spice battenburg (divine), meringue tart (sweet, crispy and creamy) and custard doughnut. The whole experience was delightful. Our waitress was helpful, efficient and friendly. All together a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Three of us came for afternoon tea and it was truly exceptional. The food was so tasty and all the items were baked perfectly. The service was really good and very generous servings. As a personal preference it would have been nice to have had some more savory items but that's more down to personal taste!

Service was quick and very friendly. Food was delicious, particularly the garlic mash!! Really nice graduation touches of glass of bubbles and graduation balloon which was very appreciated. However, we had to ask for the graduation set menu as was only given the standard menu to start with. Overall, a fabulous time, would 100% return and recommend. Plenty of parking spaces as well which is helpful. Thank you :)

Really lovely evening at Arbor. Cauliflower Katsu curry starter was for me the stand out dish of the evening although the salted caramel roulade came a close second! Staff lovely.

We booked a graduation dinner for my son. The table was laid with an appropriate balloon! The food options were lovely - good quality vegetarian options and sweets. Service was very good. It was lovely food - we only wish we had found this restaurant before on our many visits to Bournemouth.

Great family dinner for 3 adults.
    Polite waiting staff.
Nice ambience, with gentle unobtrusive music.
Food was excellently presented in fine dining standard and very tasty.
    Would definitely return.

Previously we have always been highly satisfied with our dining, but were a little disappointed with Sundays' luncheon. The service was very slow. Three first courses were delivered and we had to remind the waitress to bring the fourth. When the main course arrived an hour later, it was a bit cold, and the roast potatoes were over cooked. We are hoping this was a "one off"

I wanted to visit the Arbor Restaurant for several months. Now finally, I had the chance to visit. Unfortunately, my experience has not met my expectations.
The waiters have been nice and the guy at the reception has been exceptionally friendly.

The food otherwise was standard and presented in a boring way.
The menu wasn't massively overloaded with options. Which is good normally. But most of the options did not sound too inviting.

I general the restaurant room looked like the breakfast room (Which I guess it is). Not inviting and very boring interior.
Food presentation. Very boring. Menu options, ok.

This feedback is honest and shall not be taken as a review of an unhappy customer.
It is more for you to improve for the future.

I think with small amends you can easily improve the presentation of the food and the interior of the restaurant.
