Excellent experience. Elegant interior, this restaurant also has a terrace overlooking Regent Street. Food beautifully presented and prepared. All four courses delicious. I took my grandson and his partner as a birthday treat. Total success.

The food was really nice, and the place is really cool. Hovewer a really felt being rush during the meal, the food was comming even if we didn’t finish the previouse one. And also we receive the cocktail ( with was included) without explanation what is this ( I’m pregnant so I don’t drink spirits) so I was a bit concerned what is this.

My coworkers and I visited Aqua Kyoto for dinner. This location is close to our office and we have met here 6 times in the past year. However, this time our experience was not a positive one. We decided to do the set menu which offered a complimentary Bellini. The service was so slow and our drink orders had got forgotten about, the complimentary Bellini was never provided to us. After around 21:00 the staff decided they could take their PPE off and were talking in close proximity to us. It was all very strange and disconcerting that suddenly the PPE was removed, as we felt more comfortable seeing the staff wearing it.

I enjoyed 'brunch' here, however the menu was a traditional lunch menu of sushi and grilled meat, fish and veg, it would be more apt to rename the brunch menu as simply lunch. The service was good. I opted for bottomless cocktails and the waitress obliged all my cocktail orders without too long a wait in between drinks. The food was very nice, with some of the sushi being exceptional. My partner especially liked the grilled salmon skewer. Only complaint was that I was feeling rather full towards the end of the meal and asked to take away the last course of my meal. I received a very curt response from one of the balding male servers who told me this could not be done, which was unhelpful. Given that all restaurants I have visited make an effort to do this for diners (Michelin and swanky mayfair restaurants included). I found this quite strange. After eating, I finished the remaining cocktail on their rooftop terrace, which was lovely and refreshing.
