I had dinner with my girlfriend last Friday and we had the 30£ set menu. Despite the food was really good and we really enjoyed it, unfortunately, some things were not a really high standard and the service wasn't great. First of all, in the menu, there was no mention that the choice of the cocktail had to be made on only one cocktail (a lemon one) - we were expecting a bit more of selection, sincerely. When I said that to the waitress, she told me "Isn't that fancy enough for you?". My girlfriend and I were quite shocked that she could say something like that! Moreover, she also said "Trust me, it's really good. We had training last Friday and we all tested and liked it". Even though the cocktail was indeed good, I don't really think that was the best and most professional way to talk to a customer! Moreover, when my girlfriend asked the waitress if she could have a non-alcoholic version of the same cocktail, she was responded that that was not possible, unless if paying extra.

A strunning looking restaurant which must be at its best in the summer when the Terrace is open. Unfortunately my overriding memory will be the blast of cold air every time the door was opened for someone to go in or out onto the Terrace to smoke. They need to erect a three sided windbreak to get over this problem. Three of us had the star deal set menu, with plenty of choice, and really good value. The a la carte is quite expensive. Exceptional drinks menu. The sushi starter was beautifully served and very delicate with the unusual twist of added Parmesan which was surprisingly delicious. Main course chicken was very tender and tasty, just a shame that it was served once cold, then not really hot enough. There were two maitre d’s on duty and the person who took our chicken away was not at all gracious and made it clear that he didn’t believe our complaint. However, he did arrange to have the whole dish replaced and would serve the foam on the side so that it wouldn’t make the chicken cold. That was his explanation. The replacement chicken arrived, for the second time on cold plates, but this time we had not been provided with cutlery and had to wait a long time to find anyone to ask for it, then another long wait for it to be delivered to the table. Then I had to remind the maitre d’ that the espuma had not been served and we had another long wait.He rushed off before I had time to ask for a spoon, so another wait until I saw anyone, then an unbelievably long wait for the spoon with which to serve the foam. Of course the chicken, which had arrived only warm, was now getting cold. We were told that the salad which came with the chicken was “only a garnish,” and although the leaves were very tasty indeed, the dish needed a vegetable accompaniment. Not once did the maitre d’ return to ask if everything was now alright. Thankfully our desserts were really exceptional. The service was so bad that the meal took three hours: they had asked us to vacate in two!

I took my friend here for her birthday hoping for a special experience as I had been recommended this restaurant. We had the set menu but unfortunately it was below average- the teriyaki salmon was overcooked, barely edible and the sushi was tasteless, the apple perfume was unnecessary and did not improve the dish. The house cocktail however was excellent. I thought it was overly fussy, very bling and the food and service did not live up to it, I've had better food at Yo Sushi. We felt the bare minimum was done for us, service was very slow, inattentive and unaccomadating- not what I'd expected for such an expensive restaurant.

The restaurant doesn't have an identity in that it feels like a bar/club with food. Noisy, low lighting, dark furniture all adds to a clubby vibe. Food was ok but nothing worth returning for, unfortunately. Our waitress was sweet but a bit clueless and giggly and had it took 3 attempts to order a decaf coffee as she had never heard of it...?

It was good. Felt a bit rushed and not sure why as the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. Then had to wait ages to get our bill at the end. Had the 3-course menu with cocktail. The teriyaki salmon could have had a bit more teriyaki flavoured (it was pretty bland), and it would have been nice to be able to choose from a few cocktails instead of being told the free cocktail was only 1 option, which wasn’t something my friend and I preferred. Nice atmosphere and cute presentation, starters and dessert were good!

My friends and I met here for dinner and had a special set menu. The food was nice and well presented. There was no opportunity to make changes to the menu but that is normal. The free cocktail was like marmite - I hated it and my friend loved it.
