The food was amazing, ambiance was perfect. The balcony bar was lovely, customer service from our waiter was disappointing. The male waiter for our table couldnt be bothered and didnt try to even hide it! I took my friend who had visited for the day from Bristol for a catch up, am glad the food made up for our waiter's stinky attitude! We even asked him to take out the 12% Gratuity from our bill, i have actually never done that before!

Lovely deck for pre drinks, the Japanese beef was amazing & so was the shashimi & cheesecake. Lovely evening

Food was good, but overpriced. Service was terrible. There are too many people involved and nobody has any idea what is going on.

Went there early Saturday evening with 3 friends on the £29 star deal. The food was delicious, the cocktail very good and our waitresses were very attentive. Great value for money in a lovely setting. The only downside were the bouncers at the entrance from the street searching our handbags. This may be company policy but it was still a bit disconcerting, considering we were visiting a restaurant and not a nightclub.

Nice ambience but unfortunately let down by the food. Cocktail was good though. Not authentically Japanese but fancy Japanese food for westerners. Had a set lunch but it was not worth it at all. I ordered a mackerel w rice and the fish was 1/4 fillet of a fish, not even half a fish. My companion n I ended up ordering another side dish. So our total bill ended more expensive than expected. Will not recommend at all

We were on the 3 courses plus cocktail for £29 per person. The cocktail was served almost immediately on arrival. No choice of cocktail but it was lovely and refreshing, a mint, gin and cranberry i think drink. Our waitress was great, offered wonderful recommendations. Service was excellent, food was great, good portions despite being on a deal menu offer which is always a worry. We were running very late as well but they were very accommodating. We had the sashimi and the vegetable rolls to start. Both were excellent, although I preferred the vegetable rolls. Then we both had beef for main, plenty of rice, delicious, not sure what the green sauce was but it was absolutely amazing! Could have had more. The cheesecake for dessert was a little jelly like in texture which wasn't for me, but it still tasted delicious. The raspberry sorbet that came with it was great, so maybe I should have had the sorbet for dessert instead. The presentation was lovely, and then we popped outside to enjoy the view before heading out. The food arrives very promptly despite them being very busy so the 2 hour slot was plenty of time, I think we were only really there for an hour 45 mins including popping outside for a bit.

We had the spring lunch. Portions were small but the food was lovely and the service attentive.

The restaurant got a really good design and atmosphere. The dishes although pricey are very well presented. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great on the day of our visit otherwise we would enjoyed a drink on the roof terrace.
