The food was amazing! So nice and generally a great evening. Only bad point was we booked for 9 and didn't get seated until 9:45pm. It was fine as we were at the bar in the meantime but 45mins is a long time should a party have plans after etc.

Really welcoming and the staff were very friendly. Although we were on "a deal", we did not feel unwelcome at all. Our only complaint would be, the outside terrace is taken over by smokers.

We enjoyed the view of the kitchen and all sushi and hot dishes. Great cocktails too. Very trendy place and great service.

best feature was the decor - the restaurant is a beautiful place. i have dined here previously, and honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the set menu options. the food tasted quite standard whereas, I know food from the a la carte is divine! I would still dine here but not from the set menu. the staff were friendly but we were left unattended for some time before we realised we still needed to pay. However, the atmosphere was nice. A little too dark but very welcoming.

1st time at this restaurant was very impressed welcome you get at the entrance, once up the 5th floor another warm welcome amazing cocktail bar .
Restaurant nicely decorated seeing the chiefs preparing the fresh food .
We had the set menu choice of 3 starters 3 mains and 2 deserts excellent well presented waiter explained the dishes to us very intensive. Will recommend and also return .

The setting was beautiful and even though we were late for our booking they still gave us a decent table and let us have the deal that was available. Unfortunately the food wasn't very tasty. It looks amazing and was presented beautifully by a lovely waitress but it's was bland and lacked any real substance. The starter was uncooked tempura butternut squash. The pork main was 4 thin rolls of what I can only compare to boiled bacon and was 85% fat. Again tasteless and not very pleasant to eat. The dessert was ok. Needless to say I felt robbed after being presented with a £72 bill. Sorry to say I won't be going back.

It was a really great experience to dine in Aqua Kyoto. The service was amazing. The food and drinks were very good. The staff explained every dish to you. Only thing is the dish portion is a little bit small. It would be great if the portion be more for real adult size.

They charged 12.5% service charge even though I bought the wine myself at the bar and brought it to the table myself, ridiculous. After the wine outside in the terrace, we dined. The size of set menu was actually okay and not as small a portion as other customers had described. The gin mojito wasn't bad either. But be prepared the bill can easily add up. We ordered two three course set menus with a cocktail at £29.99 each, and the bottle we had earlier was £43 wine, one extra glass of wine, one soft shell crab roll, the final bill with 12.5% added was £145.

My friends and I had the bottomless prosecco menu for £49. It was great value as we all left feeling full. Beautiful food in a lovely setting. The only thing I would change is the lighting in the bathrooms as they are very dimly lit and when taking advantage of the bottomless bubbles can be hard to negotiate.
