Great food, the portions were a good size (we couldn't even eat a dessert we were so full!). The staff were welcoming & friendly & when our waiter found out it was my mum's birthday, he brought some balloons to decorate our table. Our experience from beginning to end was perfect.

Amazing atmosphere where the staff were professional and attentive. Food and drinks were delicious.
We had corned beef hash cake, Lancashire rarebit and black pudding starters, which were all lovely.
Cod loin, cottage pie and Annies hotspot were our choices for the main course, which were enjoyed apart from my hotspot only had 2 chunks of lamb! Apple pie and custard was great too.
Our waiter Luke made sure we we well looked after.

Lovely afternoon tea and has been each time that we have visited Annie's. The service this time was not as good as the other times that I have visited in the past. This time the service was very slow, forgot one of the drinks and had to ask twice. Waiter asked everyone around our table if there food was ok but never once asked us. Had to wait 10-15 minutes for the bill and then another 10 for the card machine.

3 of us went for afternoon tea on a Saturday and were seated on sofas downstairs. Music was pleasant, seating was comfortable and you didn't feel overlooked due to the way the seating is arranged. Good portion size - the scones were huge! Traditional style cakes - might have expected them to be more fancy for the price. Waiting staff were very accommodating when my friend (who is a fussy eater) asked for scone without fruit in, and also didn't want certain sandwiches. Left us alone to gossip for a good couple of hours so would go back again.

This is a lovely restaurant with great atmosphere, with live music. We visited to celebrate our parents 60th anniversary and the staff, when the found out had decorated the table. The food was very goid, traditional and very tasty; I had Annies hotpit. Our server Baz was excellent, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would eat here again and will recommend!
