A clean and well presented restaurant with reasonably priced and good quality food, friendly staff and some awesome entertainment (it was Poole Folk on the Quay weekend).

Inside a pretty Grade-II listed building, Angel Poole was built as a traditional ale house, and is now a charming pub serving gourmet home-style dishes. The beer garden is the perfect summer hangout to enjoy something from the bar, with plenty of international beers and spirits on offer.

The Angel Poole menu is filled with crowd-pleasing dishes, including modern international flavours. Tuck into time-honoured favourites like steak and kidney suet pudding, vegetarian cottage pie, and fish and chips coated in panko breadcrumbs and za’atar spices. There are juicy honey BBQ ribs, a choice of salads, and a separate stone-baked pizza menus, perfect for sharing.

Kids get their own special menus at Angel in Poole, making this a great venue for family meals. The bar has several international beers and ales on tap, while the dessert menu features classics like sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie sundae.

A charming pub with a diverse menu and popular beer garden, Angel Poole is a 7-minute drive from Poole Rail Station.

We arrived at The Angel at 7.30 it was virtually empty, had our choice of tables.
The reason we chose it was because it had the offer of £9.99 Prosecco All Day Every Day, and the Suet Crust Steak and Kidney Pudding, I had check that the offer had not changed and I checked the menu.
I ordered the Prosecco to be told that they had run out, also the menu we were given was not the one online and did not have the Steak and kidney pudding on it, I asked the waiter about this and he said they had changed the menu that day, he did however go and ask the cook and he had 2, which were very nice.
