    Staff pre visit aware of my wife's garlic allergy even though we booked 10 months before ! Food excellent quality.

    Food was good BUT very expensive. £100 for two people for one course and one glass of wine each - really? And £11 to park. And was not happy when waitress put the wrong amount into the card machine.

    Well considering this website did NOT pass our booking on to the restaurant (according to the restaurant) they were very accommodating and we had a lovely time. Food was amazing and service excellent.

    3 of us ordered steak with triple cooked chips after about 45 minutes if arrived the chips were not triple cooked and when we asked why they weren't they said they had run out. Steak should have been medium rare and was well done and when we asked where the complementary bread was we were told the chef was just cutting it. It never arrived despite asking for it several times.

    The afternoon tea was absolutely lovely and the staff were very friendly. My daughter is very fussy with food so our request for no fish was taken care of!

    Evening got off to a bad start - I thought I was going to have a discount with my Hilton Homage membership - but the team said No. As punishment for asking we were put on a cramped table even for 2. Then we were forgotten for ages after our main course, and our bill arrived before we were asked whether we wanted dessert. The chef however did a great job, the food was really different and very well prepared and presented. I hope he or she gets a good share of the pre added standard service charge!

    Despite having prebooked a table we were kept waiting.

    Food was ok, but expensive for dish received and service was slow. I would expect better than this for an airport hotel which we booked because we had an early morning flight.

    Very enjoyable experience overall, good food, pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Various dishes suitable for Coeliac in party.
