Greeted outside by a very pleasant man who directed us on and down to restaurant, our experience just got better and better with lovely friendly but professional staff and the food was exceptional and very good value. Our party had the lamb and chicken mains. Desserts were delicious too. Highly recommend your establishment and will definitely have this on our to come back to list. Thank you.Janet

We had a lovely meal in a peaceful and modern restaurant. Food was great and I particularly enjoyed the courgette dish. Shame there was no roulade. The cranachan cheesecake was too big and would possibly be 2/3 of the height and would have benefitted with the addition of cream. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing and the haggis dish was great also. Waiters were all very accommodating due to our lunch hour restriction. They were very vigilant and noticed quickly when ordering or help was needed.

We decided to eat here based on having already booked a Whisky experience for our 1st evening in Edinburgh. Putting aside the current strangeness around masked staff, perspex screens etc. (which were there but never obtrusive), it was one of the best meals we have had anywhere - food was exceptional, service was great and it was good value too
