Recipient of a Michelin star, 4 AA Rosettes, and a top 15 spot in the UK's 100 Best Restaurants, Alyn Williams presents contemporary fine dining at his eponymously named restaurant at the 5-star Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years working under Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, Alyn Williams' restaurant has emerged as one of the most luxurious places to eat in London.
The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7-course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.
Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.
Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

I booked a table at Alyn Williams for a special occasion, and found the process to be easy. No hassle at all, and everything was clear. I found the booking process to be fair, and my special requests were dealt with. As we entered the restaurant, we were tended to straight away with patience and care, and then escorted to our table. Absolutely no complaint whatsoever, and I was impressed by the atmosphere, the service and attention received. We were then offered water, then a drink. Though I could completely understand the reasons for offering a drink first, I thought it odd that we were offered a drink so early. I decided on Rosé champagne for the both of us. If I am honest, had I known the price of these drinks beforehand, I would not have bothered, though perhaps it was my inexperience at these sort of establishments that leads to this way of thinking. I have fined dined plenty of times before, and this was the first time we were offered a drink before being offered the drinks menu. Something I should learn from. The canapés were brought out, which surely whet the apetite, and then we were presented with the menu. It was only after we chose our menus that we were presented with a drinks menu. I could not help but think "what's the point?" when we had ordered our drinks already. Still, we ordered one more which was of an exceptional quality. By the end, we were very full, and though the lamb was quite salty, we were satisfied. The special dessert at the end deserves special recommendation. Overall, a fantastic experience. We were served promptly, the food was exceptional and the environment was comforting... Though I don't know why the man of the couple in front of us kept looking at us. Perhaps he was jealous because we had a larger table and a booth, rather than just the table he had. If I had to nitpick, one waiter attended us just a bit too often, but this is a nitpick. Greatly recommended, but be prepared to splash out... But it's definitely worth it.

It's the second time I have dined at this restaurant and have enjoyed it both times just as much. The ambiance is lovely, service is good and friendly. Staff work as a team and know the food they are presenting. The food really tests your pallet in a pleasant and exciting way. It makes you feel excited for the next course. Cant wait till I go back again. Thank you to all the team and well done.

Super! Perfection....everything about this dinner was amazing, the food cooked to perfection and tasted sublime. The service could not have been better, friendly and warm yet professional and with attention to detail. One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had (and I’ve had many!). Will be back!

An impressive menu from a very young chef! There was a chicken and foam of corn side dish which was particularly wonderful.

Excellent star deal of 5 courses and glass of champagne for £47. We added the matching wines, which was also good value. Lovely food throughout the meal and the service from everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Would recommend.

First and foremost, the food was exceptional. I booked for their 5 course de jour menu, and alongside we were given at least 3 additional small dishes. Everything we eat was absolutely delicious. In addition, the service was fantastic, very knowledgeable sommelier and the staff were very friendly.
