Recipient of a Michelin star, 4 AA Rosettes, and a top 15 spot in the UK's 100 Best Restaurants, Alyn Williams presents contemporary fine dining at his eponymously named restaurant at the 5-star Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years working under Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, Alyn Williams' restaurant has emerged as one of the most luxurious places to eat in London.

The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7-course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.

Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.

Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

    Wonderful restaurant in central London. Beautiful atmosphere. Supremely good service- careful, attentive and good humoured. Last but not least delicious food. I had the bespoke menu and it was a fantastic dining experience- each plate was a delicious, delicate work of art.

    Our 45th wedding anniversary celebration meal and a most enjoyable dining experience. The 5 course taster menu is a "surprise" as the menu changes so you don't know in advance what you will be eating. May be daunting for some but it adds to the anticipation. The food and matching wines were excellent and in particular the venison was superb. The restaurant is very comfortable with plenty of space between tables and the service is exemplary. Our table was booked for 6.30 and it was ours for the night. The icing on the cake was a complimentary additional "Happy Anniversary" desert and being invited into the kitchen to meet Alyn Williams and have a chat with him. A delightful gentleman.
