Very good service & lovely afternoon tea.

Poor. Very poor. For a global chain and a flagship National Football Centre location, the service leaves a lot to be desired. An hour to deliver 5 main course meals. And one was sent back as luke warm. Disappointing to say the least. In the Managers defence (Ben), he did ensure a bottle of wine and coffees were in the house. But I'd rather pay for the wine and coffee and have a great meal.

Excellent afternoon tea in beautiful setting

Afternoon tea special offer for April only. Quite disappointed - very different to previous afternoon tea. No refil offered as previous. Sandwiches a little dry and definitely smaller than usual. Not offered the prosecco as advertised, had to ask for this. Then when coming to pay the member of staff seemed confused with the price and showed me a printout another customer had referred to. What happened to the offering of tea leaves in the little box to smell before making your selection?

The restaurant was lovely. The staff were attentive and very accommodating. They bought my mother and I a drink to celebrate her birthday and also bought her a desert with happy birthday written in chocolate. We had the sharing breads to start which were lovely and warm with home made pesto.. amazing! then I had the burger with pulled pork, I asked for no bread and avocado in place of chips and that's exactly what I got. My mom had the duo of pork which looked and tasted amazing. We left just as it started getting busy around 9pm

Very poor experience for servicing. We had booked a table for 8 guests and it took over 3 1/2 hours to be served 2 courses with coffee/ drinks.

Booked for afternoon tea. Had to wait to be seated, had to get up to find someone to ask for milk, had to get up and find someone to ask for our scones, had to get up and find someone to ask for some more tea, had to get up and find someone to ask for the bill and finally wanted a bag to take away what we hadn't eaten and a waitress just bundled it all into tin foil making it really awkward to carry out. The food was lovely as were the staff when they were around but I think the service was pretty poor as I shouldn't have had to keep asking to be served...
