I had the fishcakes which were very tasty. Service was quick because the restaurant was relatively quiet.

Good location and nicely decorated inside. Service was good to begin with, several staff came over in a matter of minutes to take our drink and food order. Not as timely later in the evening, but they did have a large hen party come in around 9pm so they were a bit rushed off their feet. Good choice of draught beers and a reasonable wine list to choose from. Food was very good, everyone enjoyed their meals. Only slight complaint was the music was very loud which made it difficult to chat with our friends over the meal, which was one of the aims of the evening! Would return, perhaps not on a Saturday evening but maybe mid week when hopefully the atmosphere will be quieter and more conducive to a meal where you can have a chat without having to raise your voice over the volume of the music.

We visited the restaurant with friends, there were eight of us in total and we had a nice big high table which was great, service was very good and nothing was too much trouble, the lighting was turned up so we could read the menus better as it was a little dark when we arrived, food and drinks arrived in good time but we didn't feel rushed and there was plenty of time for us to sit and have a drink and a chat. We all enjoyed our food choices particularly the chicken burritos. There was an excellent choice of beers and wines too. Furthermore the restaurant has recently has a refurbishment and looks great.

The new refurbishment has brightened the bar up and makes much better use of the space. New staff were a little slow, but that is to be expected and they were attentive and enthusiastic. Food was great.
