Having made a reservation in advance, we were disappointed to be allocated a table at the top of of a very busy flight of stairs, which was being used not only for access to the toilet facilities but also to take deliveries throughout our visit. We had booked for a party of three but arrived before our guest and were surprised that a server removed the third place setting and menu from our table without asking, even though we had requested a bottle of Prosecco with three glasses and a large bottle of sparkling water with three glasses! The third place setting and menu were returned before our guest's arrival at our request, if rather sullenly. We ordered the sharing platters followed by cheese and later had a dessert, and found the food to be both good quality and good value. It was a little noisy but this is to be expected on a Friday lunch-time! We would certainly book again with the proviso that we be allocated a different table, and we would try other locations too.
