The food was lovely, so was the atmosphere, our request for a nice table for my boyfriends 21st was taken into account. The boy who served us was so lovely (I'm not sure of his name, blonde hair) he made the whole experience 10x better. He was polite, attentive and friendly.

Service is excellent, we pre-ordered so food come out after we had sat down and had a drink. The gave us a free bottle of prosecco for the birthday celebrations and were on hand throughout the lunch. We often lunch here as service and food is great.

We had booked for the 2 course for £10 menu at 6pm on a Thursday for 2 of us. The bar was rammed when we arrived and couldn't find our table had to queue up at the bar to ask, someone was sat at our table and eventually moved. We ordered a bottle of wine and the meals, then the waiter say he doesn't had one of the meals (chicken), so we asked for the burger , he said he doesn't have that either and he doesn't know what is available as he is not the kitchen staff! Then he said he only has the fishcakes. My friend doesn't eat fish so we asked for a substitute which he was reluctant to give by the did. It seems they are understaffed and our waiter had an attitude! The wine didn't arrive for over 30 minutes, I has to go to the bar to ask where it had got to. It finally arrived with our food. The food was ok and the dessert was lovely and the waiter was friendly after our meal wen the place had calmed down a bit. Don't offer the menu if you don't have any of the food!

I booked a table for 6.30 but when I arrived there were two office parties in full swing and it was packed and very noisy so I left. Nobody had contacted me in regard to my booking to explain the situation. This place is great for lunch but in the run up to Christmas I would avoid it for dinner.
