Boasting a showering of local awards, Alderley Edge Hotel is home to two of Cheshire’s finest eateries. With an impressive 3 AA Rosettes, The Alderley Restaurant offers refined fine dining, whilst the Brasserie serves up great British dishes with a modern twist.
Sophisticated flavour combinations are offered in the sublime 7-course tasting menu, with masterful creations including pigeon with sloe gin gel and walnuts, or whisky cured smoked salmon with potted brown shrimp. Retro recipes are served up in the brasserie, with its striking black, white and red décor offering a backdrop to its informal ambience.
An inventive dessert menu at Alderley Edge Hotel includes a smooth melting ginger fondant with rhubarb & custard ice cream, or iced caramel parfait with tangerine textures. An extensive wine list is expertly compiled, and showcases some of the most luxurious vintages on the market today.
An offshoot of the more formal Alderley Edge Restaurant, The Brasserie features bold red benches, eclectic prints and a sweeping stool-lined bar. Expect comfort food favourites, like succulent steaks or chicken chasseur. The well-stocked bar showcases a plethora of world wines, as well as cooling modern cocktail mixes.
From the elegant dining room at Alderley Edge restaurant, guests can look out onto panoramic views of the Cheshire plain. Alderley Edge Rail Station is a 2-minute drive away.

We were a small group of 7 attending for my birthday celebration. From start to finish, the experience was excellent, the table location was changed at my request, we enjoyed the food, the drinks, the ambience and the service. It was our second visit since refurbishment was completed and obviously the staff are now adjusted to the new regime.

Our stay at the Alderley edge Hotel was fantastic - we stayed in the Delamere suite which is the Bridal suite and what a beautiful room it was, excellent size plus luxurious bathroom with separate shower and bath tub. The hotel recently under went extensive renovation and gave a beautiful relaxed atmosphere in the bar / dinning area supplemented with great bar food. Excellent location for shop visits and short walks and a totally relaxing short 4 day break over the New year period.

Very good service and nice ambiencein the restaurant. Miss the white table cloths from the old days as it gives the restaurant a more classy feel. Also good menu choice but again preferred the evening a la carte menu from old as it made diningin the dvening there a more special event. Overall enjoyed the visit and will be returning in 2018"

We have both stayed and dined many times at the Aldersey edge hotel and had always found it a very enjoyable experience. However on arriving at the opening night we were very surprised by the new approach at first by the hotel reception staff who seemed to be more interested in themselves then their guests , and then the restaurant experience which was very disappointing. This I’m afraid has caused my partner to cancel a birthday celebration stay and probably will mean that we will not be returning.

We were cancelled as the restaurant has undergone refurbishment and wasn't ready for Sunday.

Always our favourite restaurant for 30 years and recent refurbishment has given us no reason to change our minds. Food is constantly excellent, the service is unbeatable and still the price remains reasonable. Our visits are invariably for Sunday lunch, often for family birthdays and celebrations. We are looking forward to our next visit to celebrate my 80th birthday on 4th February.

The restaurant was preparing for a major facelift so the full menu was not available. What we did have and the service were both excellent.
