Amazing evening, one of the best curries I tried in UK. Had veg thali - very generous portion.

I don't know if the winner of Masterchef cooks here, but he certainly wasn't the night we went. This was an entirely mediocre meal. There was nothing stand out. All the dishes were either under or over spices and seasoned. We most of arrived just after a large party as our food took over an hour to arrive, when questioned the staff were dismissive. When we asked for tap water the waiter brought one glass to a table of 6.

They sent us off to a restaurant a few doors down so we weren't even eating in Aladin, which was the restaurant I'd booked.

Food was terrible. Rushed service. Naan bread was the worse I had ever eaten. I would not recommend. It is NOT award winning.

The food there is delicious!!! Fast service. We ordered different curries and the portion sizes are decent. When we were there, there were a few large tables, so the place got very busy & full at around 7.30pm on a Saturday.
Once we finished eating, we were immediately given the bill. As soon as we paid, we were asked to leave. We were not even allowed to finish drinks. This left a bit of bitter taste after such nice dining experience.
I would go back, but I would not pay the bill straightaway.

Great restaurant, always busy which tells me I am going to enjoy my food!
Staff are always helpful. I always like going to Aladin's despite SO much choice in Brick Lane!

Really low-average Indian food. Couldn’t understand why it was awarded as #1 in London. The place was also not tidy or well furnished. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this was definitely not our standards... (I’d like to point out that my dad is Indian).
