"It is with a heavy heart that we have to close Palm Court Restaurant doors following the recent government announcement that London has moved to Tier 3. Please rest assured that we will reopen as soon as possible and will be delighted to welcome you back when that day comes. In the meantime we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a more prosperous New Year."
When The Langham, London opened in 1865 it started a new tradition; serving afternoon tea in an elegant Palm Court. As the birthplace of Afternoon Tea, The Langham, London continues to set the standard in afternoon tea today with an award-winning tea service.
Featherlight scones, the freshest savouries and patisserie using the finest British ingredients, that's the experience at Palm Court. Add to that a hot course for high tea, or Champagne for extra indulgence, and you have a recipe for the very best memories.
Palm Court offers an extensive range of white, green and black teas all sourced by JING Tea; why not let our tea sommelier advise you and try something new? We've also created a tea pairing menu, that matches a particular tea to each course in afternoon tea.
Palm Court welcomes tea takers of all ages and provides a charming offering for children aged 12 and under.
In the heart of London, The Langham, London is just a 5-minute stroll from Oxford Circus Underground Station.

My husband and I took our parents to festive afternoon tea, the whole palm court was just beautiful, a really nice atmosphere. We went to the bar to have a drink, and one fault was there were not enough staff on, so we had to wait a fairly long time to order, and the bar snacks came as we were finishing our drinks.

We did High tea for two. Food did not impress. Small number of treats compared to other afternoon tea experiences. Tea was average. Service was good, but waitress spoke with heavy foreign accent, that was hard to understand. Great location. Luxury atmosphere.

It was not the first time, rather a small luxury we enjoy every time we are in London. everything is impeccable from the piano to and the service extremely attentive. We found though, another price increase to 62GBP/person (we opted for 68GBP with an extra plate of fois gras. Truly, they offer a nice tartlet boxed to take away, yet this price is definitely in the upper-upper side of the market, that typically start at 40-45GBP in 5star hotels for a traditional afternoon tea.

This was a magnificent experience, everything from the service to the live music to the decor was perfect. I had the scallop as my high tea main course and it was absolutely delicious. We were celebrating our anniverssary so ,with the cakes, they brought us this pink rose chocolate mousse cake that i ate most of since my wife was completely stuffed. We had a great time and i fully recommed it.
