Afternoon tea is served in a pretty sunny room overlooking Basil Street. The service was excellent and the sandwiches and cakes delicious, with just the right amount although we were encouraged to order more of anything we wanted.

A lazy afternoon enjoying good food and company in great surroundings. Luckily, we were seated in the bar area and the cocktails were flowing freely. Can't remember the ride home.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea here . Was so nice that the waitress asked us if we would like more sandwiches at no extra cost . Asking us also if we would like another cocktail.

Great value and service exceptional. Free flowing cocktails were definitely free flowing although not strong which is probably ideal for afternoon

Lovely setting peaceful, good staff, our second visit .
Miss the glass tea pots for the beautiful teas on the menu . Would be good to see a British grown tea of their menu .

The finger sandwiches tasted very fresh and the Victoria sponge was particularly delicious as were the scones. It was not lavish or plentiful, but did seem fresh and made to order. I do not think you would leave feeling full up and like you could skip supper as is the case in some hotels - this was afternoon tea, no more - and in my opinion expensive for what it was.
