The food was fantastic, but didn’t think much to the service, nobody came over to ask if we needed more sandwiches and when it came to pay , we had to find some one , but the place and food was amazing.

We had afternoon tea. Loved the tea, and the waiter was charming. No so sure about the service which seemed a bit haphazard, as each course came out separately, so some of our party who didn't want sandwiches were left waiting for their scones while we ate our sandwiches. It works with a normal meal but not so well with afternoon tea I think. The waiter was very patient each time we asked for the next course. Sandwiches were great, scones and pastries also. Teas were delicious. However a bit pricey for what we got, although given the smart venue and the current price in other places I suppose it was ok.

A lovely afternoon. We have had tea at the Savoy and we said that there were several similarities. Good service, lovely surroundings and although the price is more than many places for tea I would say it is far better value than many considering the quality. A little light background music would have been a nice touch, otherwise thoroughly recommended and we will go again.
