Restaurant description

Set in the heart of London's West End, Le Méridien Piccadilly is a stunning 5-star hotel within easy walking distance of Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Oxford Street and Covent Garden, as well as the theatres of the West End.

The new exclusive Peter Rabbit™ Afternoon tea is served in the Terrace Restaurant, a stylish setting with luscious greenery throughout the restaurant. Sitting high above Piccadilly, the glass atrium on the roof terrace floods the room with natural light, creating an oasis of calm.

The Peter Rabbit™ Afternoon Tea lets children and grown-ups alike enjoy their favourite childhood story. Pastries include the beautiful Flower-Pot Hideout, a delicious mousse inside an edible chocolate pot, flavours harking back to Peter’s warming bedtime tea after his adventurous day, an eye catching Magnificent Mushroom of strawberry ganache with a crunchy meringue stem, as well as Every Bunny’s Favourite, a delicious carrot cake. A selection of fresh scones, jams and clotted cream come served alongside the tea.

Served in the bright and airy Terrace On Piccadilly boasting a Victorian glass atrium with floor to ceiling windows and balcony overlooking Piccadilly, and decked out with an array of foliage, the setting perfectly matches Peter’s tale.

Close to various West End theatres, the Peter Rabbit™ Afternoon Tea at Le Méridien Piccadilly is a 3-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

Everything was lovely except we did request no fish but there was still fish on the plate, we also felt that the tea was a little stewed and not served quickly enough

Really beautiful and well thought out, Peter Rabbit afternoon tea. My 3 y.o loved it but only ate the sweet treats. Lovely location and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend to Peter Rabbit enthusiasts.

The Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea was very enjoyable I could not wait to try the flower pot, 'delicious'. My G G Grandfather's 1st Cousin, Richard Norman Shaw was the Architect of ' The Meridian Hotel', I was delighted to have been able to experience the inside. I would liked to have been able to go in the one room that has been kept as it was back then, was unable as a meeting was taking place in there. All Staff seem very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant itself was beautiful, it felt like I was sitting in a conservatory amongst the flowers! Service was very good, and the food was amazing. We had the B n T bottomless brunch which I could not fault - my favourite element was the savoury scones (chilli, avocado and red pepper scones). Very good value for money and the Prosecco was kept topped up.

Välavvägd afternoon tea med champagne. Många lediga bord men trots det var servicen långsam och vi satt länge och väntade på påfyllning.

The food was good. the service was satisfactory, could have been better. The staff need to be tidier in their uniforms

Afternoon Tea: room was practically empty and a little chilly, but staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was tasty and enjoyable, drinks plentiful and the whole thing was great value. I would certainly recommend.

Terrible service, in fact no service at all. Eat with coats on as we were so cold. It was not free flowing as we noticed the waiters came out every half hour. No tea refil. Horrible!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Brunch tea, food was lovely, service was excellent, very attentive staff, would visit again and recommend this restaurant, also the views of the Christmas lights outside added to the experience.
