Excellent value for money. Brunch afternoon tea was only £27.50 including a cocktail. Food was delicious, beautifully presented, great setting and excellent service. Thoroughly recommend and will be returning.

Set in the heart of London's West End, Le Meridien Piccadilly is a stunning 5-star hotel within easy walking distance of Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Oxford Street and Covent Garden, as well as the theatres of the West End.

Afternoon tea is served in the Terrace Restaurant, a stylish setting with shiny black and gleaming white furniture. Sitting high above Piccadilly, the glass atrium on the roof terrace floods the room with natural light, creating an oasis of calm.

Le Meridien Piccadilly afternoon tea sees dainty finger sandwiches with freshly made fillings joined by warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and French pastries, all served with your choice of tea or coffee.

Soak up the splendid chandelier-filled and oak panelled setting. Close to various West End theatres, Le Meridien afternoon tea is a 3-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

We booked an early time, 12.30 for pre theatre matinee lunch, so had the place to ourselves at this time of day and enjoyed the afternoon tea for two.
Commencing with an included glass of nicely chilled Prosecco, our appetites were tweaked. With a choice of teas, I went for English breakfast tea made with old fashioned tea leaves making a really pleasant drinking experience from the usual tea bag job I'm more used to. Delicious! Sandwiches, pastries including clotted cream and jam scones were fresh and very tasty and it was a complete surprise to watch my good lady, (size 10) demolish, not one, but 2 of the generously filled scones after managing all her share of the sandwiches! Normally, I have to “help her out” Sadly, my services were not required on this occasion.
Patricia, our waitress we helpful and attentive and other female staff were very pleasant. Overlooking Piccadilly, under a glass atrium we spent a very pleasant hour or more and the cost was very reasonable for the heart of the west end and a short walk from Theatre-land.
I read reviews before booking, all were good and it lived up to them, to sum up I would highly recommend and would certainly book again.

I have visited Le Meridien Piccadilly on several occasions for Brunch and for Brunch Afternoon Tea and it never disappoints.

I treated my mum to Brunch Afternoon tea with free flowing Prosecco on this visit and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

The scones are simply divine so much so that I bought some for my mum to take home. Please don't ever remove the tomato relish or change the recipe as it is such a perfect accompaniment with the clotted cream to the scones.

The English breakfast in the Yorkshire pudding is such a clever idea.

I also loved the English muffin with salmon, egg and spinach - so good and beautifully presented.

I would like to extend thanks to all the staff and look forward to returning soon.

afternoon tea was fantastic! Lovely hotel and friendly staff! Really nice food and presentation. Thankyou to the chef/staff who made an effort to cater for my mum who was lactose intolerant!! She was really impressed with how much effort you had gone into for her!! Would defiantly recommend this afternoon tea!!

Staff were good, food was ok but it was very hot under all that glass. If you re like my Mother & claustrophobic there are a lot if stairs to climb
All in all for just a few pounds more I still prefer the County Hall Marriott ear Waterloo

Went there for afternoon tea. The food was good! The savoury scone combined with the relish and sweet chilli clotted cream was great. I really enjoyed the Eggs Piccadilly and the Savoury Yorkshire Basket. It was a shame that we were not allowed to get other teas to try without being charged extra.

The ambience was nice, however it was particularly hot that day and when sitting indoors, it felt like we were in a green house. Nonetheless, the experience and good were good overall.
