It was a little awkward sitting by a very tiny table, I would have preferred a proper table and a normal chair, but the food was great, my regards to the chef, and the tea was superb.

The restaurant is very modern, light and airy, we sat by the window and could people watch whilst enjoying our lovely afternoon tea. It was a very hot day and the staff were very aware of this and made sure that we were comfortable. The Summer Afternoon tea was delightful and the scones were exceptional. The staff make your afternoon very special.

Great venue overlooking Hyde Park - bright and spacious. Luigi was very knowledgeable about the various teas and took time to explain the flavours of each to ensure we chose ones pairing well with the food. Very enjoyable.

What a lovely afternoon tea experience this was! All the staff were so welcoming and explained all the different foods we were eating. There was a great selection of teas to try along with the wonderful savouries and delicious cakes. I enjoyed the water melon and ginger amuse bouche and the Parmesan crisp to start with. The scones were served wrapped in a napkin to keep them warm which was a lovely touch! The cakes were both pretty to look at with their pink and green theme and absolutely delicious, beautiful delicate flavours and different textures. To end it all I was presented with a selection of handmade chocolates to celebrate my 6Oth birthday, which was a lovely touch. The waiting staff were all very attentive, but a special mention to Luigi who shared his enthusiasm for the Chelsea Flower Show with us.

It was lovely overall with the beautiful view. The server was new and tried a bit too hard. The arrival experience was odd - we were the only booking for afternoon tea, there was only one other table in the room, the host did not greet us but instead remained behind their podium and waited instead for us to initiate the conversation, once engaged he was pleasant and very happy to be working in the hotel.
