Lovely to return for afternoon tea and it was fantastic again. Its good to hear that the free flowing champagne deal will be coming back in December so we will definitely return. It would be lovely to see the return of the live music and Beetroot bread and cucumber sandwiches too

Staff were friendly, but only 3 on duty & service was a bit slow. Room lacked ambience & was quite small, but it was quite nice and relaxed. Sandwiches & scones were favourites. Sandwiches were flavoursome, but bread sometimes dry, cakes were beautiful to look at, but disappointing to eat. Scones were served fresh & warm. Had to ask for more tea as staff were quite busy..

Really super service and such friendly staff. The tea was wonderful and really good food. The room where the tea is - is beautiful. This is great for those looking for a modern"hotel" afternoon tea experience - and less like a traditional tea. Its still excellent and we really enjoyed and would go again.

The afternoon tea was delicious; the whole experience was amazing and set in a beautiful room which had been decorated for Xmas and looked wonderful. The cakes were exquisite and very festive looking.

Afternoon tea. Utterly fantastic experience. Staff attentive but unobtrusive. Delicious selection of sweet and savoury delights and an array of teas that was like a wine list. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and unhurried. Cannot recommend this wonderful treat highly enough. Oh and very good value for money at £35, more than we could devour so cake boxes supplied to take home some treats for later. We will be returning again, what a wonderful afternoon, so rare these days to get something so perfect.

Fabulous, a real treat for my friend whose 50th we were toasting, the savories as usual were my favourite, the sandwiches simple but tasty especially with the gorgeous breads used, and the champagne was always topped up.
