This was a superb place to dine. The food is phenomenal and all the cold dishes are plated in the main restaurant so you can see it. The service is faultless and I loved the way the chef came out to explain every course and answer questions where necessary. With each of the courses you thought it couldn't possibly get better but every time it did. 9 courses (although each one is small) leaves you stuffed by the end of the meal. The restaurant itself is stunning and you feel like you're in your own little piece of heaven

We had the 5 course tasting menu with paired wine. I have to say this was some of the best food I’ve had in ages. We eat out a lot (mostly in London) and this stands up to some of the best places I’ve eaten there. Truly excellent! The staff were attentive, friendly, but not overbearing and the wine pairings ranged from very good to stunning. I HIGHLY recommend this place. We had an absolutely wonderful evening. If Adam Reid doesn’t get Manchester’s first Michelin Star since the 80’s I’ll eat my hat.

Extremely unimpressed. Complete dearth of carbohydrates. Portions were absurdly tiny. Having 6 of them in no way compensated for a decent sized main dish at least. Just seemed an excuse to serve as small a portion as you could get away with. The "soup" course thing was undrinkable due to excess salt content. Most of the other dishes were over-seasoned too. Extremely forgettable experience. The fact that only three tables were occupied for lunch on a Thursday rendered a total lack of atmosphere. I wondered why I had bothered. Considering the fuss that was made about my booking time, etc, I was expecting there to be a queue out into the street. Far from it. I'm not surprised the restaurant was almost empty.
