Over all highly enjoyed and the experience. Favourite dishes were the cheese and onion tart and the strawberry dessert, that was among the best I have tasted.

Stunning food in a relaxed atmosphere. Very attentive staff - friendly but professional. The lamb was my favourite dish. The Labcashire tasty was beautiful too. Loved the bread and whipped butter. So much attention to detail with the cutlery and place setting. We sat at the bar for the dessert which was a very theatrical experience with MY - the chef.

I liked it all, all 6 courses. To begin with, the music was a but intrusive, but as more people arrived, it became less of an issue. I think a better choice would be more classical music.

Very much at the top end of Greater Manchester dining but deservedly so. Absolutely magnificent from start to finish. Food imaginative and delicious and the service outstanding. Staff were exceptionally efficient without being too formal and also knowledgeable and friendly. Proves the old adage - you get what you pay for.

Sadly, not overly impressed. Food was all good, but far from excellent - flavours just not good enough for the fine dining expectation. Service was a little slow and it was difficult to hear/understand most of the staff who were waiting on. Visited Rabbit in The Moon recently which we all felt was much better.

this was our 3rd visit in around 6 months. I have to say this was the least enjoyable. Beautiful room of course but last night it seemed so lifeless. the music was awful, so dated and lack-lustre. I am so sorry to say the staff do not help, they are uncommunicative, ranging from just timid to uninterested. It appeared to be lacking in management last night. The most enjoyable dish for me was the courgette flower served as finger food. The low point of the meal was the RAW PRAWNS. Impossible to hide the fact that the presentation was attempting to disguise grey food on the plate, it was not appetizing in appearance or the psychological challenge of eating raw prawns. A step too far in the 'try something different' box. We had the wine flight with our food, also a disappointment, in the main the wines were nothing outstanding just ok. The wine measures were on the mean side, it seems ridiculous to give such small measures when giving just a little more generous measure would not hammer your profits but would give the customer a little less of a 'exploited' feeling.

Second visit to the French. Once again the food was exceptional a minor quibble the tater hash didn't work for us on our previous visit the tartar dish was better. The surroundings and service were great. A lovely way to celebrate our wedding anniversar

Atmosphere was amazing, really relaxed and welcoming. Décor was in keeping with the building yet still modern. Service was by for the best experience I have ever had, on hand without feeling over-faced. Very friendly and knowledgeable. As for the food, that was a whole new experience in itself. The flavour in each and every dish (plus the added bonus of 2 extra dishes) could not be faulted. From the breath-taking presentation to be able to taste each and every component. Was without a doubt the best eating experience I have had to date!!
