Have been here before and it was really good. This time not so. No dishes for oil with the bread. No Balsamic vinegar. Pork very pink and asked for medium. Veggies too salty. In all a very disappointing meal

The staff were very welcoming and helped us choose a wine as we were unfamiliar with Spanish wine. Our waiter opened two bottles and was prepared to open a third in order to provide a wide tasting experience. His recommendation was spot on and I will definitely view Spanish wines in a new light. The menu was broad without being complicated and there were some inviting Spanish influenced dishes. All the food was tasty and cooked perfectly and the lack of heaviness was noticeable which would suggest that there isn’t an over dependence on oil and butter. The ingredients were so fresh that they didn’t need too much added. The service was relaxed which was very welcome as we had a couple of hours to spend over our dinner. My dining partner and I will definitely be returning and felt that the meal was good value taking into account the food and service.

Great little restaurant. The food very good; was well prepared and presented. The service was excellent and Jose in particular was attentive and knowledgable. The upstair table by the windows would be a great choice.

We ate here on a Friday lunchtime, opting for the set menu. Very welcoming and friendly service. Both starters were very tasty, notably the white asparagus wrapped in smoked salmon. For the mains, the ravioli stuffed with ricotta in a basil and tomato sauce was delicious. Interesting wine selection and overall a very pleasant experience.

I have been going to About Thyme a handful of times a year for about 15 years. Same guys there. The food is good, the prices reasonable, the service excellent and the atmosphere fine. It's Spanish based but a wider menu than that. A good choice of very drinkable wines. The more basic Riojas are excellent. The fact that one keeps returning is a good testament. It's a good experience! It's worth booking at busy times. There is a nice semi private part upstairs for slightly larger parties. In all honesty this place serves good food but is probably not geared to faddists.
