Service was friendly but not over familiar. Food was excellent, quality food which was very clean on the palette which to me is a tell tale sign that all ingredients are fresh. Really good value for your money too. My husband and I can’t wait to visit again very soon.

Food was lovely but portion a little small only one fillet of seabass. Special lunch menu so good value but would have preferred to pay a little more and have a bigger portion. Restaurant was nice, quiet and not too crowded. Decor beautiful as always.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and presented, and is spotlessly clean. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff. We both had a breakfast choice, I picked the scrambled egg and salmon, my partner picked the smoked bacon with crushed avocado and poached egg, both dishes were delicious. Everything tasted beautifully fresh and both dishes were nicely presented. The coffee was excellent too.

This was just ordinary at a high price - couldn't complain cos there was nothing actually wrong all dishes bland and uninteresting - cheap ingredients reasonably presented - the sea bass could have been any fish also had to send the wine back twice as it was off !!

Ordered the fillet steak, it was exceptional, probably the first time in the UK that I have ordered a Medium rare steak and actually got a medium rare steak!!!!.
Truthfully it was possibly a touch too rare for me, however the quality of the steak was such that it actually didn't matter.
I had a dessert, very rare for me, but again it was superb.
The menu is probably a little staid for some people, but what they serve here is what they do best, loved the place.
House wine, by the glass, also very good, nothing in the whole dining experience, that I could fault.

My daughter had come to Tarporley for the weekend and we decided to go for a meal in the village. As the had quite a busy schedule we wanted a venue where we were able to talk so we chose No:32. The meal was excellent although two main dishes were not available. Excellent service!
