In the boutique Marylebone Hotel, 108 Brasserie offers hearty yet cosmopolitan British brasserie cuisine. Housing a chic bar as well as a sophisticated dining room, 108 adds a modern twist to traditional style.

Centred around the Josper grill, the 108 Brasserie menu is British-led and evolves with the seasons. Packed with fresh food that’s foraged and sourced from across the UK, rich main dishes include roast Yorkshire Moor pheasant with bread sauce and game chips, and seared Aberdeen Angus sirloin with watercress and horseradish. From the grill try whole lemon sole, tiger prawns in garlic and parsley butter, or Suffolk free-range pork chop with cider glaze.

Evening meals are enjoyed under atmospheric candlelight, while the bar team at the 108 Marylebone bar offer a list of fine wines and spirits, and create a variety of cocktails. Designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors, the décor blends traditional and modern features effortlessly, with rich red leather and burnt orange mohair upholstery, a dark stained oak bar and antique mirrors.

Drawing in a savvy clientele, 108 in London offers classic flavours in a smart, contemporary setting. Bond Street Tube Station is a 6-minute walk away.

David the head waiter was very welcoming and showed us to an excellent table.
The service was efficient and friendly with attentive staff.

We both chose dressed crab on toast which was excellent and a main course grilled prawns with harissa and lime.
The main course was very disappointing on two counts, namely the dish was not very hot and there was far too much harissa which totally overpowered the prawns and the harissa was very thick similar to tomato purees paste.

I am sure that there are better dishes than this on the menu -I think we were just unfortunate.

Dessert was good -chocolat fondant with peanut ice cream albeit a long wait before service.

Overall the restaurant is very smart and comfortable with good service and I would recommend it but choose a different main course on a subsequent occasion.

Discrete, elegant and attentive but not annoyingly so! 108 has a continental feel, the staff are amazing as is the food - the Guinness bread! We just went for a late evening supper, drinks and catch up but I would recommend for lunch or dinner in the heart of Marylebone.

I had listed our groups dietary requirements for the afternoon tea on the booking, of which there were a lot, but we'd picked 108 Brasserie specifically for it's gluten-free and dairy-free options. When we arrived the staff seemed to know nothing of this, so we had to explain it all over again. It worked out fine and we all got our vegetarian/gluten-free/dairy-free teas, but it would have been easier if they'd have just read the booking notes.

Saying that, the brasserie is lovely inside, really well decorated and the service was very good (a little slow but to be honest that suited us as we were in no rush). The afternoon tea was lovely and we had a great time!

One suggestion for the dairy-free afternoon tea is not to assume that that person is always a vegetarian, although my lactose intolerant friend tells me this happens to her regularly - she always ends up with vegan options.

Poor service. Waited 45 mins before we even got our tea. Had to get up to find a waiter twice. Tea was tepid when it came. Inattentive staff. :(

Ambience was great, food products were of high quality and tasty and the staff very friendly. Service was very slow however and had to call the waiter a couple of times after waiting for longer than I should had, things didn't go smoothly. They either should become more efficient or have more people working at the restaurant.

Dissapointed, overpriced, mediocare service and food. For London, would expect much more than what they offer for prices they charge.

The dinner was in general very good.
The main grilled salmon with the sweet potatoe chips could have been a bit more tasteful ( sauce or vegetables as).
    The lemon tart was delicious.
The service very pleasant and attentive.
