It may be a chain, but it's bloody good. Go for a rustica (sofia if they have it, piccante if they don't). Raspberry cheesecake yummy. melted cheese starters yummy.

Overall we had a good experience. Some of the food was disappointing - the bruschetta bread was over toasted and really hard and in the children's menu there was no vegan garlic bread - just carrots and cucumber was brought (which was very dry), although the staff did do their best and brought a piece of bread with some olive oil. Disappointing though as last time we went there was proper vegan garlic bread. The pizzas for main course were excellent and staff very friendly and accommodating.

Childrens starter was cold and also rock hard. We had to remind them about our garlic bread coming with the main meal and the person showing us to our table never spoke to us, she just set off to the table and never said a word when we got to it !!! I've been before, but they must have had a bad day yesterday !!!

The service needs addressing at this restaurant in Winchester. The last two visits have seen poor service, for example there did not seem to be one person who was consistently serving in the area we were sat. On both occasions getting menus was slow, taking orders was slow and a lack of attention during the meal. On both occasions the restaurant was no more than 50% full, so it was not as if it was manically busy. There are enough restaurants in Winchester for us to find good service elsewhere, such as Cote a few steps up the road.
