Unfortunately the restaurant was busy and looked understaffed. Took some time to even get drinks and then over an hour to get mains which in the case of the pizza was cold.
This had been similar experience for prevous recents visits so will not be back in near future

We love Zizzi's but this was by far our worst experience. The restaurant was very busy which is fine but it was so noisy we couldn't actually hear each other. My main dish was watery pasta and tasteless and my husbands pizza which is normally massive was tiny and a mess on his plate.

The serving staff were efficient but the service itself was slow and if we had been pressed for time this would have been a problem. The prices are on the high side but we used a voucher codes discount voucher which meant main courses became reasonably priced. There was no loud music being played and so we were able to converse without shouting.

Food was really nice staff friendly but a little too keen to clear starter dishes before 3 out of 4 of us were finished eating and main course dishes before we were finished eating

The service has become very slow since the restaurant partnered with Deliveroo. Waited 40 minutes for a bowl of olives and a burned starter, then received undercooked pizzas for our main course (though we still love the zucca pizza). Didn't stay for a dessert. Felt that some of the staff were doing their best to avoid us as we tried to complain and when I eventually managed to get a hold of a member of the team he was on the bar staff and no member of the food staff was sent to speak to us.

Furthermore, we were not particularly appreciative of having our meal interrupted to sing happy birthday to a fifty year old woman (not even a young child, the 11 year old received his cake quietly beside us). The turning on and off of the lights during this only contributed to the poor experience.

We've visited many times but I think this will be our last time at this particular branch. They struggled to serve a half empty restaurant and I saw more food leave to be delivered than arrived at the tables of waiting guests.

Food very good, service very poor. Toilets cold. Drinks a tad expensive.
