Excellent service and food. My husband requested no garlic. So dough balls brought without garlic, we asked for plain butter which was served too. It was a busy evening but still very efficient and polite service.

Lovely atmosphere dining by the canals outside.

The food did take a while to come but was lovely when it did. We had the 3 courses for £15.95 which was very reasonably priced. The spicy chicken pasta and Mango and Coconut ice cream where delicious .

Not great. Probably the worse experience we have had at Zizzi. We were booked on a table of 8 (7 of us turned up) so they decided to move us on a table of 6 as they were over-booked - this was not acceptable and not our problem- as we were squeezed in and one person was between 2 tables which you could not eat at so we moved the empty table next to us so it was comfortable. then they took a long time to take our order (we were not the only ones as we saw people get up to get waiters attention to be served). The person who served us was the most miserable person who I have seen wait on a table. On top of that the person who was organising the table was really stressed out with tables and took it out on us. The most appalling service ever. He then let us have the extra table in the end but we all had to hear about how stressed he was and even when he came to apologise, he reverted all back to him "I am ok now" - what about asking us if we were ok. The point we were making - we booked for 8 therefore no reason to have been on any other table as they were only informed of the 7 people as we arrived. He continued to push back on this. So not a great start. Then to top it up, all our food arrived besides one. We had to chase 3 times to be told its on its way. Most of us had nearly finished our food before the last dish finally arrived - completely unacceptable. To top this our waiter continued to be miserable. If people are not happy serving they should not be in jobs like that. I told him at the end the bill better not have a service charge as the service is one of the worse we have experienced. We wanted to staying for coffee and desserts but refused to give any more money to Zizzi that day. so overall - no the experience was the worse I have experience in Zizzi. I go to many Zizzi and never have I had a bad experienced. Felt awful as it was for a leaving lunch for a member of the team therefore the experience was not great for her either, it wasn't enjoyable

We booked the downstairs room to use the ping pong tables and there was not one ping pong ball available. We were so disappointed! Only stayed for a few drinks and moved elsewhere as had a ping pong tournament organised which we obviously couldn't play. I did ask management for ping pong balls and was told there were none......

We enjoyed our first visit to this Zizzi however we were very disappointed at being served our 2 large Peroni's in glasses that were not frozen! Also, can we suggest that your Calzones' include a small bit of colouring for example some rocket salad?

Very relaxed atmosphere, alternative - simple, sort of "raw" decoration. Very spacious. We had salmon on veg and veggie risotto with side salad - both were yummy. Delicious Italian wine too.

Had a rather bad experience. The calamari large portion was not that large and the side salad leave were pay their best, very limp, no dressing offered. Then I ordered the salmon and broccoli - new dish. I wasn't told they had run out of broccoli, clearly a main feature of the dish and they served it up without mentioning this. When I asked the waiter said they had run out and said sorry. However this was after they served it and were clearly hoping I wouldn't notice. The worse part though was the salmon itself. I can only assume it was frozen and then throw in a deep fryer. I have never been served salmon so dry, but at the same time it has a thick layer of fatty grease on top and bottom, it didn't even look like salmon. I did complain and asked for a margarita pizza for replacement. Additionally to this when I needed a staff member twice I had to leave my seat to find someone, where they were stood round the corner - 3 waiters just chatting and only lady eating. Not impressed at all.
