A bit slow taking our food order, and quite a wait then for our starters even though it wasn't busy, but a lovely waitress, good food and a nice atmosphere. Our second visit and will visit again.

Good range on the menu, got that buzz of a student venue, well sited on the river front opposite the university. Good place to take your student son (in our case) out for a decent meal served on a proper plate for once!!!

The service was very good and the food was really nice. It didn't take long to arrive either considering it was 7 O clock on a Saturday evening. Very nice we shall be returning

Nice atmosphere and very attentive server. The Calzone was hot and presented well but there was not much filling. 3 snall pieces of chicken was all i had in mine. Starters was tasty and deserts lovely

Very clean with a great range of foods plus a secret menu for those with specific dietary requirements.

With 5 eating, the starter platter was just the right size. The main and puddings were all delivered quickly and were of a good quantity.

We were lucky not to get a table with one of the hanging lampshades, as they looked far too low and I did notice people knocking them as they sat down.

Was quite surprised we spent over 2 hours in here as the time flew by.

As we booked for 6pm, this created an issue with parking fees in the Lucy Tower car park, 2 hours starting before 6pm is 2.80, after 6 it's 3 for the night. Thus I had to pay twice, with that in mind, I would book a table for 6:30pm at the earliest next time.
