We ordered our food and while we were eating our olives the server came back over and advised there were no meatballs for my polpette pizza and asked would I like to choose something else instead. I said I would have a Sofia pizza. When our pizzas arrived the server said here's your polpette pizza and put a pizza down which had very little topping and huge areas of bare pizza base. I advised I had actually ordered a Sofia instead and she said it was an "improvised polpette" as they had no meatballs. Bizarre - why ask me what I would like instead and then deliver something entirely different? She said we wouldn't be charged for it - just as well as it was the worst pizza I've eaten in a long time - virtually no taste and crying out for more topping. My partner enjoyed his meal, his pizza base was well covered with lots of topping, plus he got the pizza he asked for.

Lovely food, great choice and lots of info for my daughter who has to have gluten free.Got a candle in my dessert as it was my birthday.Only one downside,my sister's food didn't come until quite a while after the others.

Pre cinema treat. So glad we booked because loads of people were turned away. Me and pal shared Arincini starter, then Pulled Beef & Venison Strozzapreti and Winter Zucchini pizza and a bottle of Montepulciano. Came in at under £50 and well worth it. Lots of friendly staff, great service. Will definitely recommend and we'll be going again.

We visited Zizzi's before a concet at the First Arena.
We arrived about 15 minutes early but after a very warm and welcoming greeting we were immediately shown to our table.
Our server was Sally who was really lovely, friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
We both had a light pasta main course. Mine was a ravioli with goats cheese, tomato and spinach with a green pesto and pine nut sauce. My Mum has a mushroom tortellini type dish and we both thought they were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were exactly right and not at all overfacing.
After a suitable break we had desert Mum had the lemon sundae and I had the chocolate, praline and sea salt torte and again both were gorgeous.

Our visit was on a Saturday night and the restaurant became busy but mamaged to maintain a friendly, relaxed atmosphere throughout.

I would recommend Zizzi's to anyone who loves good italian food in a restaurant with friendly and welcomi g staff.

We will definitely be visiting again z

On entering the restaurant which was fairly busy, being new years eve, we were greeted immediately by our friendly waitress who had details of our online booking to hand. We were shown to a table and from that moment on, the service was excellent. We ordered an aperitif of mixed nuts and olives followed by a pizza and a pasta dish. We also ordered a bottle of red wine all of which were delicious. We would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was really good but the service was not good at all. On arrival we had to stand outside until they would let us in. Then after our food arrived nobody came to see if you were happy with your food or if you needed a drink. It took ages for us to reorder some drinks which then took 20 minutes to arrive. Anf we had to wait 45 minutes for our main course. They was clearly not enough staff on. Rather disappointing. We will not be going back.

Very bad service. Had to wait 90 minutes for a pizza and it was cold when arrived. Many people complained that night and staff seemed didn't care about it. Really disappointed

We enjoyed a girlie lunch yesterday. Food was good. I had lasagne which I'd had before and really enjoyed it. Seafood risotto well presented and good. Duck apparently also good. Also children are well catered for. Overall a very nice lunch. Will return.
