The experience was far from good. We started with the Fritto sharing platter-the calamari was like rubber and the fish was tasteless. Two of us had the Porcini Giganti and both agreed that the tortelloni pockets were undercooked and like dough and the mushrooms had little taste, neither of us finished our meals. Another member of the party had the Pulled Beef & Venison Strozzapretti which he said was bland and undercooked. We were asked by the waitress (a very friendly girl-Tammy?) and told her how dissapointed we were, she seemed concerned and said she would pass our comments on and arranged free coffees. My personell feelings are the meals should have been free. We will never visit another Zizzi

Food was great and very quick! We got served by lots of different waitresses during the meal, it's nice to have a consistent face if possible!

We ordered our food and while we were eating our olives the server came back over and advised there were no meatballs for my polpette pizza and asked would I like to choose something else instead. I said I would have a Sofia pizza. When our pizzas arrived the server said here's your polpette pizza and put a pizza down which had very little topping and huge areas of bare pizza base. I advised I had actually ordered a Sofia instead and she said it was an "improvised polpette" as they had no meatballs. Bizarre - why ask me what I would like instead and then deliver something entirely different? She said we wouldn't be charged for it - just as well as it was the worst pizza I've eaten in a long time - virtually no taste and crying out for more topping. My partner enjoyed his meal, his pizza base was well covered with lots of topping, plus he got the pizza he asked for.

Pre cinema treat. So glad we booked because loads of people were turned away. Me and pal shared Arincini starter, then Pulled Beef & Venison Strozzapreti and Winter Zucchini pizza and a bottle of Montepulciano. Came in at under £50 and well worth it. Lots of friendly staff, great service. Will definitely recommend and we'll be going again.

We visited Zizzi's before a concet at the First Arena.
We arrived about 15 minutes early but after a very warm and welcoming greeting we were immediately shown to our table.
Our server was Sally who was really lovely, friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
We both had a light pasta main course. Mine was a ravioli with goats cheese, tomato and spinach with a green pesto and pine nut sauce. My Mum has a mushroom tortellini type dish and we both thought they were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were exactly right and not at all overfacing.
After a suitable break we had desert Mum had the lemon sundae and I had the chocolate, praline and sea salt torte and again both were gorgeous.
Our visit was on a Saturday night and the restaurant became busy but mamaged to maintain a friendly, relaxed atmosphere throughout.
I would recommend Zizzi's to anyone who loves good italian food in a restaurant with friendly and welcomi g staff.
We will definitely be visiting again z
