Lovely food and pleasant staff.
Vegetarian pizza was unusual and delicious.
Calzone was smaller than when I'd had it previously but was still delicious.childrens food was great and they were kept entertained and the staff treated them well.
Decor is nice. Love the trees in the tables.
Service was speedy.
Toilets were not as clean as usual and no loo roll

Slow on realising we were waiting for service. After that very good & very friendly service. Surprised how little the bill was. Overall would use again

Booked the restaurant for 7 family members to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday. On arrival, the restaurant was very quiet, only 3 tables were occupied. We were left standing by the door for a while when the staff chatted at the bar. When seated, we were given menus and left for over 20 mins before anyone came back to take our order. Drinks orders were then taken, and then eventually arrived. Our starters arrived fairly quickly, which were nice. The restaurant was getting busy then, and other tables were receiving their main course long before us. We had to wait nearly a hour before our main course arrived, and the food was ok, nothing special, and definitely not worth the wait. The waitress was very apologetic due to the wait, and said she could rush though our desserts- which yet again were ok, nothing special. We did not have the opportunity to remind them it was my daughter 's birthday, so she didn't have any special treatment, or even a candle in her dessert.
We were so disappointed in the whole experience, the restaurant looks so nice, and the menu is very inviting. But we will never return as overall it ruined my daughter's birthday as it was not a relaxing experience and the food wasn't anything special. The bill was very expensive, the only positive was that I was able to use Tesco vouchers to pay towards some of the meal. If I didn't have them I would of complained bitterly about the wait and the food.
I read negative reviews before we went, and I'm gutted I didn't listen to them and book somewhere else.

lovely setting, food is amazing, we ate at one in Newport a while back so wanted to try our local and compare.
they do have a lot of seats so great to get in on a busy night but probably noisy.

We had a great experience at Zizzi's. A warm welcome and the food was excellent. A little quiet as we dined early evening before theatre show, however the restaurant was getting busier as we were leaving. There was a colouring book for our daughter to be entertained whilst we waiting for our food to arrive which wasn't very long at all. Did not feel rushed by the staff although quiet. A good start to a great night out at the theatre.
