Went for new years eve dinner. Managed to get a table but it was right by the door to the loos/kitchens. Service was average. Food indifferent, served on cold plates in small portions. Overpriced for the quality/service. A pity as we had been before and recollect it as much better than that.

We were very disappointed with the meal and the service on Sunday, on arrival we informed the manager we had a Tesco Voucher an were given a very nice table near the window. We then both chose the Beef Christmas special main, we normally ask for no added pepper or salt, this time we forgot to ask. I have had this at the St. Katherine Dock Zizzi the week before and it was very good and did not taste like it had added pepper. When the meal arrived my meal appeared to have no pepper but my wife's meal had a great deal of pepper! We should have complained at that point when we were asked how we were enjoying our meal. but my wife did not want to create a fuss. She ended up giving me most of her meet and it was only then I realized there was so much pepper on the meet. At that point we chose not to have any more food and asked for the Bill. The waitress then came to the table with the Bill and when I asked her to take off the Tesco Voucher she was very rude and told us off and stated we should have told her about the voucher earlier. She did not appear to know we had told the Manager earlier about the Voucher even the she could have been far more polite about the issue.

The food was unfortunately bland and the waitress didn't really understand English so although she was good in providing service she didn't understand what we were saying in reply to her questions.
We had to send back the garlic bread for them to actually melt the butter on it. It came back hard and dry.

The device was OK but the food was terrible. We ordered two pizzas that weren't cooked properly and presentation was awful. I could have got a better pizza from Tesco. If this is the reason why you are in business then you need to employ chefs who can cook. We were asked if our meal was OK and in true British style we said yes. But in true British style I will not be back.
