Great atmosphere and a lively restaurant in Clifton. Unusual Italian dishes unlike other chain outlets. Affogato desert was the best I'd ever eaten...yummy!.

I.was very disappointed, it was our 56 wedding Anniversary we booked a table for 12.15 arriving at 12.10. On booking we had let them known that we were using Tesco vouchers! Also on ordering we mentioned our Anniversary. Flippantly the waiter said congratulations. And they were not busy!
We all ordered off the special menue, 19.95 for three course also we all had the wine that went with it for £2 a glass. The service was extremely slow and two families before us were served and went but to be honest they may have only had one course, our meal took 2.30
The problem came on paying,......we were told ' Oh I'm sorry you cannot pay for the three course with vouchers because it's a special deal' we said we told you we were using vouchers.and it didnt say on the menue .....we did not have £150 to pay her so she went off to see the manager and came back saying because I had told them I was using vouchers they would price the meal separately, each item priced seperately..... The meal somehow ended up costing us £38.80 instead of £14 for the drinks....... That might not be a lot to you but it is to pensioners!
Not only that there was the humiliation on our wedding Anniversary to then ask the children to help with paying.
We really only had the three course meal because it was 19.95 and a round sum for the vouchers my husband and I were paying for the drinks special deal at each at £2....... We had to buy the bottle at £23.75. Very disappointed.

A waiter was rude to my sister because she spoke to a cheif inquiring about food..which was quite upsetting but apart from that the food was wonderful.,

    Very friendly and good service.
Disappointed with my beef rib, which was over cooked and not very generous. My wife also said the same. Did not comment on the night as we were celebrating with friends
