Zeppelino's in the Steigenberger Hotel in Stuttgart sends both connoisseurs, and those wishing to discover the Mediterranean cuisine, on a culinary journey around the Mediterranean sea. The dishes are prepared partly in a classic style and partly with a new interpretation of the old traditions. Specialities such as Mediterranean skewered meat, with ratatouille sauce and rosemary covered potatoes, tuna fish steak coated in black sesame oil on a saffron risotto and tomato ragout, or white chocolate mousse with balsamic strawberries and roasted nuts are all served up here. Other offerings include, for example, best US prime beef direct from the grill, or the business lunch, which rounds off the offering at Zeppelino's. When the weather is good in the summer months, the terrace is inviting to Zeppelino?s and the Zeppelin Stüble?s guests, and encourages them to linger and take the opportunity to enjoy the various gastronomic delights on offer.

    Food, service and atmosphere were very good. The french fries came a little late, halve of the steak had already been eaten by the time they arrived. The Chimichurri was more a pico de gallo with olive oil than chimichurri, but it was good. The sauces (especially said chimichurri) could have been a bit more plentiful for 2 steaks.

    The food was quite good. The dessert was suboptimal. On the crème brûlée lay uncaramelized sugar grains. Have the service addressed and the dessert returned. Unfortunately it was calculated nevertheless.

    Guter Service, jedoch Preis/Leistungsverhältnis deutlich zu hoch.
    Die Preise sind spitzenmäßig, das Essen geschmacklich allerdings nicht.

    Hatten als Vorspeise die Karotten kokos Suppe und als Hauptgang surf & turf sowie das argentinische ribeye.
    Pro:
    -Fleischqualität und Zubereitung perfekt. Besser geht fast nicht und dem Preis angemessen.
    -Grill Gemüse war mir persönlich zu "fettig"
    -Debora hat uns super und sehr professionell bedient! Spaß an der Arbeit kam rüber mit einem Augenzwinkern. Nicht so steif wie das Ambiente vermuten lässt. :) von daher stimmt das runumpaket.

    Contra:
    - ein echter minuspunkt ist das ambiente. Für mich ist das zusammengewürfelt und nicht einheitlich. Es ist keine Linie zu erkennen. Aber leider zieht sich das wohl durch das ganze Hotel...denn der Empfangsbereich wirkt auch wie aus den 70ern. Also da könnte man nach dem heutigen hotelstandard mal ein sanierungskonzept vorlegen. :)

    Got a great table by the window. The steaks were excellent and service was very good. The food took a long time (almost an hour) to arrive. We were 7 people, but the restaurant was not busy even though it was lunch time.
