Believed to be the second oldest pub in the country, Ye Olde Six Bells dates all the way back to the 9th century and offers quality British cuisine from an extensive menu. The charming, shingle-roof country inn has been sympathetically restored, with some of its original features still intact, while the conservatory dining room offers stunning views of the Surrey countryside.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Ye Olde Six Bells menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while the ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

Neighbouring the grassy banks of the winding River Mole, Ye Olde Six Bells in Horley is just a 4-minute drive to Gatwick Airport.

Excellent meal apart from the beef which was not good. Very good & attentive service by Gok.

Excellent ribeye, excellent Malbec (Aruma), with these two combined you can't go wrong. and an excellent discount. We have visited 3 times in a week. Only pity we only managed to get hold of the ribeye on the last ocassion because all the other days they had no more left. The sirloin and the cheaper Malbec i did not enjoy as much. Special mention to Gok our Turkish waiter who wast very keen to help us out having a great dinner

I was called prior to arriving and informed that there were problems in the kitchen and only the oven was in use, therefore there was a limited menu, upon arrival I must admit it was more limited than we realised and not what we would have chosen to eat at all, however I had a discount code the staff applied to the bill helped as we can't say we were too impressed with our food, which under normal circumstances is great

My husband and I had a nice meal here for my birthday. The pie was lovely but could have done with some more vegetables, apart from that no complaints. Would like real Heinz Tomato ketchup to be on offer and not an obscure brand!

This is a pub we have been frequenting for at least 10 years and also our family through recommendation For the eve of our holiday to Florida as we fly from Gatwick so enjoy a meal at The Six Bells as part of our holiday after travelling up from Wales. But unfortunately this year on 31 October our meal was not acceptable. My husband and I ordered 2 sir loins and they were literally inedible. By that I mean that mine was so tough that I could to eat it. This was so disappointing. The head waitress knocked mine off the bill. Thought I should let u know. Also the place seemed run down and needed a face lift as there were stains all over the chairs. Hope someone sorts this out as it's such a wonderful old pub.
