The Restaurant is still very nice and when we did get the food it was delicious. We were not introduced to a special Pie Meal Menu and we had quite a wait for our meals but they were worth waiting for.

With a well-catalogued history, Ye Old Cherry Tree boasts a colourful past, once operating as the Loyal Britain Society headquarters, and running as a former coaching inn and posting house in Southgate. Serving trusty British fare from an accomplished menu, a rambling beer garden caters for al fresco dining, while inside, oversized leather armchairs and a feature fireplace add to the pub’s charm.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Ye Old Cherry Tree menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies designed by celebrity chef James Martin offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while the ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The iconic circular Southgate Tube Station is a 3-minute drive from Ye Old Cherry Tree in London, with Broomfield Park just a 4-minute drive away.
