Awarded a Michelin star in its opening year, Yauatcha is a slick Soho hideaway serving modern Chinese delicacies and dim sum. Designed by the acclaimed Christian Liaigre, the dining room features an open kitchen for views of the chefs.

Specialising in small plates and all-day grazing offerings, the Yauatcha menu showcases delicate steamed dim sum, fresh seafood, and sumptuous oriental-style meats. Enjoy favourites like braised Somerset lamb with black pepper sauce, Mongolian-style venison, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Bespoke desserts are crafted with the utmost skill at Yauatcha in Soho, with handmade chocolates and macarons on offer, as well as mandarin macadamia, or a summery raspberry delice. Fruity and cleansing cocktails are mixed using the finest available ingredients, while the drinks list features vintage wines, sakes, and flowering teas.

A sister restaurant of the celebrated Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus Tube Stations.

Lots of food when you take the menu. Fast to get the food. Nice environment and interior.

10/10 - pretty much everything about Yauatcha was perfect. A contemporary twist on the traditional dim sum was impressive, tastes fresh, balanced and without that cloying over salted feel you sometimes get after indulging. Particularly enjoyed the spinach tofu with mushrooms. Great surroundings and service (sometimes a little over keen to clear away your plates, which made you feel rushed - minor really). Will come back here again.

A lovely experience, young man who looked after us was extremely polite, professional, and had good knowledge of the dishes thus could advise well, particularly as I required lactose free foods. Despite having an early evening slot for dining we were not rushed which I found extremely pleasant and considerate. All table staff were very polite, friendly, helpful and professional. The hostesses though could be more friendly.
Great tasting fresh food and delightful presentation. Happy to recommend to friends. Will come again.

Dinner was good, expensive for what they provide and quite noisy. Cool atmosphere.

Sat downstairs as we booked on a whim. Prefer up. That said, food was as good as I had remembered from previous visits two years ago. My relatives from Texas loved the variety spicing.
