Food was pricey but it was really good! No regrets. Service was excellent too.

Awarded a Michelin star in its opening year, Yauatcha is a slick Soho hideaway serving modern Chinese delicacies and dim sum. Designed by the acclaimed Christian Liaigre, the dining room features an open kitchen for views of the chefs.

Specialising in small plates and all-day grazing offerings, the Yauatcha menu showcases delicate steamed dim sum, fresh seafood, and sumptuous oriental-style meats. Enjoy favourites like braised Somerset lamb with black pepper sauce, Mongolian-style venison, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Bespoke desserts are crafted with the utmost skill at Yauatcha in Soho, with handmade chocolates and macarons on offer, as well as mandarin macadamia, or a summery raspberry delice. Fruity and cleansing cocktails are mixed using the finest available ingredients, while the drinks list features vintage wines, sakes, and flowering teas.

A sister restaurant of the celebrated Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus Tube Stations.

Fine environment and service. Good & authentic Chinese cuisine without the noise, congestion and rough service of some Soho restaurants.

Would like to point out to Yauatcha that Penang Fried Koay Teow (Penang, Malaysia) should not be served with a slice of lime..that is Padthai (Thailand)

I come from Penang - a heritage city ranked No. 1 for food in the world year after year. Do come visit us, Alan Yau.??

Otherwise, Yauatcha is still my favourite Chinese restaurant in London and will alway return.

The food and tea we ordered were all delicious. But it was too noisy and the seats were not big enough. it is a good choice for afternoon tea or dinner.

Great meal booked at the last minute. Even though the booking said we'd need to release the table by 8pm we were under no pressure to move on and stayed until 9 in the end. Great food as always at Yauatcha but more expensive than I recall on previous visits. Still a top dim sum destination with flawless service.

During my stay in London I dined at Yauatcha twice. On each occasion my waiter was YEON.
I wish to thank him for his courteous service and for his knowledgeable suggestions for what was a most memorable culinary experience. I will return again in July 2017 and will recommend this experience to my many itinerant Sydney friends.

Lovely good value deal - 9 courses with cocktail for £29. One friend went a la carte and two glasses of wine cost the same/more as our deal! Did feel a bit rushed towards the end.
