Excellent service in particular. My waiter helped decide my order without any bias. The food when it arrived was superb.

Awarded a Michelin star in its opening year, Yauatcha is a slick Soho hideaway serving modern Chinese delicacies and dim sum. Designed by the acclaimed Christian Liaigre, the dining room features an open kitchen for views of the chefs.

Specialising in small plates and all-day grazing offerings, the Yauatcha menu showcases delicate steamed dim sum, fresh seafood, and sumptuous oriental-style meats. Enjoy favourites like braised Somerset lamb with black pepper sauce, Mongolian-style venison, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Bespoke desserts are crafted with the utmost skill at Yauatcha in Soho, with handmade chocolates and macarons on offer, as well as mandarin macadamia, or a summery raspberry delice. Fruity and cleansing cocktails are mixed using the finest available ingredients, while the drinks list features vintage wines, sakes, and flowering teas.

A sister restaurant of the celebrated Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus Tube Stations.

Great food and great service from the floor manager Carmen. Our original waiter wasn't very helpful. Dim sum is definitely the best in London, and the star deal was great value.

Great food. Service a little slow, but overall a lovely experience.

A most entertaining lunch. We did not take the set menu but went a la carte. We stuck to Dim Sum but followed with the prettiest desserts I have seen in a long time. Two of us had cocktails and one a beer. I would have preferred a classic dry martini but it was not on the extensive list. The meal for three came to £113. Not bad for a fun lunch.

Quite disappointed. Have heard a lot about the restaurant and was expecting some good flavours. The food that we had which was a set menu was very bland. Service was not great. There was MSG in the food which gave me a headache and we felt thirsty the whole afternoon. Felt quite hungry after we went shopping and ate again later. Expected much more for what they charge and I would not recommend my friends to visit.

The dim sum starters were excellent, however the seabass main course was rather bland in taste and a bit glutinous and the additional soft shell crab was also disappointing as it lacked flavour and seemed a little 'dried out'. The macaroons, however, were divine. We felt that the service was average overall and have had a better experience when dining there in the past.

It was okay, slightly rushed. The dim-sum was good and the macaroons where great, but I wouldn't go back.
