Awarded a Michelin star in its opening year, Yauatcha is a slick Soho hideaway serving modern Chinese delicacies and dim sum. Designed by the acclaimed Christian Liaigre, the dining room features an open kitchen for views of the chefs.

Specialising in small plates and all-day grazing offerings, the Yauatcha menu showcases delicate steamed dim sum, fresh seafood, and sumptuous oriental-style meats. Enjoy favourites like braised Somerset lamb with black pepper sauce, Mongolian-style venison, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Bespoke desserts are crafted with the utmost skill at Yauatcha in Soho, with handmade chocolates and macarons on offer, as well as mandarin macadamia, or a summery raspberry delice. Fruity and cleansing cocktails are mixed using the finest available ingredients, while the drinks list features vintage wines, sakes, and flowering teas.

A sister restaurant of the celebrated Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus Tube Stations.

I found all the Experience at Your place Perfect from booking to dining

The venue is lovely and the food on point. I have to say I was a little disjointed with the service. The staff were slow to the mark, there was quite a bit of waiting around, even for the simplest of tasks such as a g;ass of water. With that said the food was delicious and the atmosphere lovely.

Excellent food and service.very accomodating -even tho we had booked a fixed price tasting menu they accomodated a vegetarian diner with slight ammendment.

The food was excellent, an alternative to the macaroons would have been nice. We had a pleasant dining experience and would definately visit again.

I was rather disappointed with the whole experience to be honest. Hottest day of the year and it as cooler outside the restaurant than inside - have they heard of air conditioning? We were sat promptly at a tiny table for two, I had thought tables this size had been banished to the MDF store in the sky. Why do restaurants insist on cramming tables for two together, why bother having tables this size. I am a petite, slim person but I struggled to get through the gap.
As for the food - we dined here on a special 9 course tasting menu. Wish we hadn't bothered really. The main menu offers far more delicacies and as for 9 courses - not sure 1 dumpling constitutes as a course. Liberal interpretation I feel. I was still hungry and ordered a 1/4 of crispy aromatic duck - unfortunately it was dry and coated in something rather nasty tasty.
What was most disappointing though was the service. I had to ask three times for my water glass to be replenished. I had the impression by ordering a deal we were customers of a certain ilk. Don't offer a deal if you don't want customers to take up the offer! Will I be going back, no I don't think so. There are many places where my £ are rather more welcome.

The food there is good. But we waited for the jasmine rib over 40 mins.

Could not fault food and service was great. Would have preferred seating above ground as it was dark and being by the kitchen a little oppressive downstairs but it was ok.
