Sister restaurant of Michelin-starred Yauatcha in Soho and a member of the acclaimed Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha City presents high-end Chinese delicacies. The vision of Parisian interior designers GBRH, this spectacular semi-circular space covers 7220 square feet.

The varied Yauatcha menu spans from grazing dishes served all day, to ornate desserts and chocolates from the on-site patisserie. Choose a basket of perfectly steamed dumplings with prawn and chive or poached Peking chicken, or indulge in luxury signature dishes like crispy aromatic duck, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Now a thing of legend, the dessert counter at Yauatcha in London offers rainbow-coloured rows of macarons, artisan chocolates and dainty desserts, including lemon mousse with basil and meringue, or raspberry delice with chocolate and lychee. An impressive, oriental-inspired cocktail list is offset by rare teas and a stock of fine wines.

One of the most highly-acclaimed Chinese restaurants in London, find Yauatcha City just 2 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station.

Nice atmosphere and lovely food. Staff friendly but service completely shambolic. Long waits for menus, to order drinks, for drinks to come (food arrived before drinks) and had to ask a second time for part of drinks order. Lots of waiting staff, most of whom spent a lot of time avoiding eye contact. Would recommend the food but really service needs a lot of improvement

Great food, came for London Restaurant week but had to request that menu 5 times after trying to get us to order just off the a la carte...had to ask for water then waited 15 mins after asking two people twice.

We went for London Restaurant Festival and the 9 dish tasting menu. Food was amazing! I just wish there was more of it. Especially the venison dumpling, the sticky rice in lotus leaf and violet macaroons were extra tasty. Staff were super helpful and explained each dish and the accompanying sauces to us. They also set up a lovely birthday treat for my friend. I would definitely come again

Initial welcome was not great, we were passed form person to person as they decided where to put us. I had to give of my booking to to 3 or 4 different people before we were seated. It was fine, just a bit unprofessional and unfriendly. The food was pretty good. It is not proper Chinese food, more Asian style and it is to a good standard. The service was good and they brought out a nice Birthday pud for mt partner ( I had requested this when booking). The one major downside was that it was quite loud, it was Thursday night and full of city workers. Not a good place for a quite meal!

Lovely food! A lot of servers though (we had 4 people serve us), but all very helpful and nice. We did miss some info on some of the dishes though, but not the end of the world.

Lovely food but terrible service . We continually had a ask for more water. Our suggestion that the bottle was left on the table met with 'we are not allowed' sometimes we asked 3-4 times. It really spoilt the evening. We mentioned it when paying the bill and the waiter just blanked is - no apology or comment.
It's really annoying when wine can come very quickly but something that the restaurant is not being paid for like water you have to fight for
