Sister restaurant of Michelin-starred Yauatcha in Soho and a member of the acclaimed Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha City presents high-end Chinese delicacies. The vision of Parisian interior designers GBRH, this spectacular semi-circular space covers 7220 square feet.

The varied Yauatcha menu spans from grazing dishes served all day, to ornate desserts and chocolates from the on-site patisserie. Choose a basket of perfectly steamed dumplings with prawn and chive or poached Peking chicken, or indulge in luxury signature dishes like crispy aromatic duck, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Now a thing of legend, the dessert counter at Yauatcha in London offers rainbow-coloured rows of macarons, artisan chocolates and dainty desserts, including lemon mousse with basil and meringue, or raspberry delice with chocolate and lychee. An impressive, oriental-inspired cocktail list is offset by rare teas and a stock of fine wines.

One of the most highly-acclaimed Chinese restaurants in London, find Yauatcha City just 2 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station.

Great dim sum, venison puff was very special as were the scallop dumplings. High Mountain tea also recommended, unfortunately the traditional Chinese refill hot water was denied.

Food is delicious but the service is poor. Our waiter couldn't be bothered to help with recommendations or even give an opinion on our options. He just shrugged his shoulders and insisted it's entirely up to us to navigate the menu.

Food was very ordinary & service was inattentive. We didn't get serving spoons for all the dishes. On top we then had to wait & wait trying to catch someone's attention.

We took the menu from £ 30 for two people but it's a real theft. We thought of trying different dishes while little stuff came and a plate was considered a ravioli, one of number !!!! Ridiculous
I would not be disappointed again

Overall it was good, quick service and friendly staff. We got the 9 course deal with a cocktail but I don't understand how the deal was 9 courses, we counted them and there was only 5 so we felt a bit short changed. However the food was of good quality and very tasty just wish there was a bit more.

After a very slow start, we were taken to the bar as we were early but had to ask if we could then go to our table We then had to wait another 1/2 he for any food in total we had been there for an 1 hr. When the food did finally come it was delicious .Yes would recommend the food .thought the gin and tonics were expensive at £ 8.00 each .So would think twice about eating here if we were on a budget.
