The food was amazing, very tasty and perfect portions.
The atmosphere wasn't what i expected, was louder and more 'clubby' than i'd wish for in a restaurant, but that was failure to research the venue before booking.

My friend and i were very dissapointed with the service at DSTRKT. It started well, attentive but as the evening progressed (in fact 1hour in) it became very apparent we were being rushed, cutlery, plates whisked away before we were finished, bill brought without requesting.
If we were hours into the evening i would understand but we were only an hour.

It made for a rather rushed and not relaxing dining experience,

We had a four course tasting menu and a cocktail included in the very reasonable price through book a table., We had the most amazing champaign cocktail on arrival which was absolutely fabulous in taste. Two starters which were very generous in portion size.In fact I was quite full after the starters .I chose the steak but as tasty as it was it was rare and I had to send it back to be cooked further to my taste. They should have asked how i like my steak.Unfortunately the mains did not come with any sides so we had to purchase them which brought the bill up.I thought this to be quite cheeky and a ploy to whack the bill up. .I had the mango cheese cake for dessert which was really amazing. They brought the chocolate cake by mistake and left it on the table for us to have anyway..

A really nice looking restaurant so we had high hopes! HOWEVER, there are just far too many staff who hovered constantly meaning our meal was interrupted every 10 mins and thy attempted to snatch our plates every time we put our cutlery down. As a result the whole experience felt very rushed. The worst bit? Our waiter failed to inform us that the cocktails we ordered (£12 each) weren't part of the deal and then tried to refuse to give us the champagne cocktail that was part of the deal!! Left a very sour taste after an already average experience.

Tasty food and good value 3 course meal with cocktail. Service was a little slow though and as it is a restaurant adjoining a club the music was too loud to hear the conversation over dinner.

I got there 5 mins early and was not allowed downstairs in the restaurant until they were ready, I was also not allowed to use the rest room!!
There were 4 in my booking and 3 of us were on time but we were not allowed to sit at our table til the 4th person arrived.
We all wanted crab cakes for starters but were told that is off the menu due to a stormy sea the shipment did not arrive!! And we were then advised to have tuna which non of us wanted.
We asked them to take service charge off the bill due to all of this!!
    No I would not reccommend!

We booked a £35 per head taster menu for last Saturday (28th February). Thankfully we were warned in advance that you have to produce photo ID in order to be admitted - all part of the establishments rather naff attempts at exclusivity. Having satisfied the stereotypical door staff that we were who we claimed to be we were allowed in but were then left standing at an unattended entrance / check-in point for about 10 minutes, a delay which had implications later. Eventually we were seated and were invited to select drinks / wine. Remarkably despite it being only 8pm (or rather 8.20 by the time we were seated) all of the reasonably priced wines had apparently "sold out". The food was decent though no more and delivered with indecent haste, one plate taken away and another put down almost immediately. Not the way to enjoy a meal. The reason for this became apparent as we received our dessert course and were told that our table was needed in 10-15 minutes. Again something hardly conducive to an enjoyable, relaxed meal. Having asked if we wanted coffee and replied that we would like a cappucino each we were greeted with a blank look from the waitress who informed us that "we only do normal coffee, like..." before persuading us into a particular liqueur coffee costing £10+. The bill came to £164 - bearing in mind that the meal was £35 each! Bread and butter placed on the table without request appeared as an extra item on the bill. Basically the place wants the young, trendy rich to spend fortunes on over-priced drinks and cocktails. If you do not fall into that category or if you just want to eat, be prepared to be treated like a second-class citizen. If you want to go to a stylish and trendy restaurant with good food and service and where your custom is valued, don't go here, go to Nobu
